Not much to report today. I am just steadily working on packing and cleaning and organizing and re-organizing, and switching and moving stuff around the house. It is exhuasting!! One, I never realized we had so much stuff, and Two, if I dont do it, there isnt much time to get it done. So I am very worn out...and while I have people telling me to take a break, thats very hard to do considering that in 11 days (basically 10 now) we will be listing and having People come look at the house on an any given time basis...so it MUST get done! Tonight we are working on Topher's room and the playroom, I already taped up the whole kitchen (well except behind the fridge) for painting and I am gearing up for lots of landscaping this weekend since we will have sun and temps in the 60s again (thank GOD)
We have found a house we are in LOVE with...which is scary because I am getting way too attched and by the time we list and sell I am *sure* it will be long gone...

10 month check up
Laci went for her big check up this morning and she is
21 pounds 7 ounces!!! (Topher wasnt 21 pounds until over a year old!) she is over 29 inches now and she is about to have 3 more teeth come through!
Sadly we are out of options and something that we have kept mostly between us in the house is now an inevitable event...in the next month or so Laci has to have eye surgery. She is going to have to go under general anestesia (i'm sure i just spelled that wrong). We are very scared and need a lot of prayers and support for our little girl. It is minor, its opening a blocked tear duct, but it has to happen for her and its not the surgery as it is her getting put to sleep that has us so terrified.
Please keep her in your thoughts.
I am too tired to get much more out but we figured now that it is going to happen we will let everyone else know.

zzzzzzzzzz.......
I need sleeeeeeeeeeep!!
I spent some time outside with the kids today because it was pretty nice and warm and sunny, then I spent the rest of the day PACKING...what *else* would I be doing???
I swear this house BETTER sell fast, because this is *hard* and its gonna be even *harder* when I have to run around like a chicken with its head cut off every morning just to get it ready for *possibly* someone to show up and kick me out of my own house.
**sigh**
Anyhow tomorrow is doctor day with Laci, and the dreaded shots. UGH! I *hate* shot day SO much!!! :( I am *not* looking foward to it at ALL! But at least the appointment is at 9am so its over and done with early and I can just relax with the kids all day. Who knows, maybe I will say screw it and not pack *anything* at all!!! (yeah right)

whew! what a weekend....
Wow, what a weekend!
Saturday seemed to fly by. I was up ay 7:00, out in the yard raking up our old multch by 9:30 and we worked in the yard almost until 5:00 in the afternoon. We got all the old multch up, totally cleared the island in the back, cut down the tree in the back yard (brian did this with an ax...probably for me alone as it was *quite* the show teehee), and just did all kinds of stuff. Then we went to Home depot and looked around and got some odds and ends to work on around the house like lightbulbs and packing tape and we also picked out the color we are replacing the beautiful red-orange in the kitchen with. After all that I got cleaned up and went blacklight bowling with some old friends, and made some new friends, and eventually waltzed in the door around 12:45 in the morning.
Today we went and trapsed around Toys R Us with the kids and went to my moms house for a while and looked at the area for storage she has for us there and went through my moms wedding pictures with her.
We got home and we started to clean the garage, took a bunch of stuff to goodwill, and i packed up probably half the kitchen and re-organized some of the cabinets. Then I went to the grocery store, we got the kids fed and in bed, and we just got done watching "Evan Almighty" (super cute and I got all choked up). Now Brian is playing Playstation and I am finishing this and getting some sleep as I didnt sleep in this morning much at all and I am very tired from last night still.
Hopefully I will get some pics from last night and I can list them on here later this week. :)

Slowly getting better...
We are all working on getting better. Laci is a little better, I am mostly better, Brian never got sick at all, and Christopher has gone from the stomach flu to the headcold over night and is now the worst off person in the house.
Not a lot to report as we have been laying low the last few days. This weekend we are going to start working on the backyard and continuing to pack the house up. We have pretty much put everything on hold since sunday.
Thank God its almost friday! Saturday I am going black light bowling with a bunch of my girlfriends and Sunday I am sleeping IN!!!
Hope all is well with everyone else.

Sickly Monday...
Well laci has been sick all weekend but now as of this morning Christopher let me know he feels "like crap". So he went upstairs to rest and a while later he threw up all over his bed. I felt him and he was burning up so I got him to the doctor and turns out (after a negative strep test) that he has the stomach flu. UGH! So he has been quarenteened to his bedroom all day watching movies and now I think he is finally getting tired of it. But the doctor says the less contact he has with us all the better chance the baby wont get it. So he is in his room sipping gatorade and watching Rattatoille. I feel like I am getting some of what both kids have. I am on some NyQuil right now and going to bed very soon. I hope this monday was better for everyone else....its been the pits for me.

That went fast...
What a fast weekend....
Today we just farted around the house trying to pack up as much stuff as we can. Its crazy to know that 3 weeks from today we will have a "For Sale" sign in our yard!! We didnt get as much done as we wanted because Laci is sick and I have had a monster headache all day long. And now we are sitting here watching this movie called "Shoot 'em Up" or something and its got me stressed out because its about a bunch of guys trying to SHOOT a baby, ugh! Men and their stupid movies!!!! I rented "Evan Almighty", but nope. I am stuck watching this movie, chewing off my fingernails, praying i am not going to be REALLY upset by the time this movie is over. So anyways, I am pretty tired all together and really need to get some sleep as I know that tomorrow will likely be really hard since Laci feels so crummy. :(

Cold Snowy Day
So it was a cold snowy day here today. It was so nice to see a day where it is just cold cold cold all day with snow all day. I havent seen a day like this in years here in Georgia. I really have a feeling its a taste of a year of normal weather to come.
Well we got up this morning and took the kids to the bowling alley for the first time and Topher really enjoyed himself. He was so funny. He rolled his ball so slow that at one point a bowling pin STOPPED the ball!!! I had to spend 3 turns trying to knock it and my ball into the back so we didnt have a ball just sitting in the alley!! I took the one picture because I dont think I have ever seen a ball rolled that slow during bowling!! lol! But he did good and we played for almost an hour.
Then we came home and cleaned the whole house really good and at 4:00 our realtor came and we SIGNED!!! Thats it! Its official! February 10th we are having a sign put in our yard and SELLING! eeeeeek!!!
I think this is going to be GREAT! and he says he is pretty sure we will sell by JUNE!!! omg! Can you imagine?!?!?! I am so stoked! We are going to start viewing houses around the end of february! WOW!!!!!
So now brian is asleep upstairs with laci, topher is asleep on the couch by me and the dog is asleep on my legs. Its gonna get down to 15-18* tonight so I guess I need to get the faucets dripping and then hit the hay myself.

Big day!
Well its official! Christopher has been registered for Pre-K!! We went today and did the tour and he did great and loved the place and walked around by himself to check out the classrooms while I talked with the manager. He was very comfortable and the whole place smelled like a home. Not a sterile hospital, or a stinky dirty daycare, but like home. It smelled like ravioli and corn (lunch) and paint. It was very nice. There was projects all over the walls and bookbags and jackets in cubby holes, and little tables with tiny chairs and smocks and fun carpets and lots of clean looking good smelling 4 year olds! The place we got him in also does an hour twice a week from 2pm-3pm for phonics and phonics math which almost guarantees an easy transition into kindergarten. So I am excited about the whole thing! He is going to be going to school in Kennesaw (where we are moving) so I wont have to pull him out of a school when we move. And he will be on Cobb County school scheduals, so he really will get the feel for school!
So in August I am shopping for bookbags and school supplies! Oh my goodness this happened too fast! I already told brian i need him that day so I can sit and cry on his shoulder. Wow, my little man is really growing up. Craziness.

oops!
I was supposed to get on here last night but I was too busy steam cleaning my carpet in the livingroom!! Wow, 1. I am WAY better at steam cleaning than brian hahaha, and 2. I wish I had taken before and after pictures....its AMAZING how much different my livingroom looks and smells, (yes I know how nasty that sounds...note to self, *strict* no food and drink policy in new house). So anyways after that I made the adult choice to get to sleep early (which still was almost 11:00) but I got a pretty good nights sleep and I think I *might* do the upstairs carpets tonight!
I talked to our realtor yesterday and we are meeting with him again on saturday and SIGNING!!! I am so so so soooooo excited!! We also made our absolute choice for where we are moving and we chose....
KENNESAW!
YAY!

Still very tired...
(repost since my first was erased)
OK, so I am still very tired. I didnt get much time to rest and regroup my brain cells today because my two kids made it a personal goal of theirs to make me rip off my ears, poke out my eyes, and bash my head against a wall today. I am very tired, my voice is gone almost, and I cant tell if I am coming or going right now. But I am sure I will slowly regain my sanity (no help from thing one and thing two though) and be back to my chipper self in no time!
I am glad to know the wedding is over, it is now time to work on some things to make me happy for a change. I have been working very hard on planning some things for the next few months including putting the house on the market, a few dates with my husband, a passion party, blacklight bowling with the girls, a trip to jersey, a trip to daytona, and a random trip to some yet unknown destination for a weekend getaway with my friend rochelle, some dinners with my friends, Six flags, and our huge vacation in July are just a few that have been swirling around. But either way it is time for some stuff...FOR ME! (of course the hubby and kids will benifit both from being included in some stuff, and from mom not walking around like a homicidal maniac because she actually got out of the house for a change!)
So I am tired, I need some sleep, and I just took 2 tylenol PMs and chased them with a parrot bay. When they kick in I am OUT! mama needs some S.L.E.E.P! So please enjoy your night, do something for yourself, and get some sleep like me! :D

Quick Update...
We booked our condo for the BIG summer vacation!!!
We will be staying at the sunglow resort right off the sunglow pier! :)
A beautiful one bedroom condo for a whole WEEK for only 618.00!!! (and that INCLUDES tax and cleaning fee)
Thats a great deal considering in 2006 we stayed at the comfort inn for 5 days and paid 775.00!!!
We are SOOOOOOOOO ***EXCITED***

Welcome back..
So the weaning is getting easier. Today is over 3 days now and last night I got really scared because of how big and hard and lumpy my boobs got. I was so worried I was getting mastitis or something. But this morning after a LOT of ibuprofin and just a little expression manually, i am on the mend!
Tonight they almost fit in my bra again! YAY! And they dont feel like bowling balls.....lumpy bowling balls.
This wedding stuff is crazy too, I think I can speak for me and my mom and say that we will be glad when its OVER! lol.
I am tired and very scatter-brained today and in a crabby mood. I am no good for no one right now. I think I will be better once I get through the emotions of homone drops and January, lol.
Today they found that hiker's body. This is one of those news stories that really bothers me, I mean yeah she had a boyfriend, but she had parents...parents whose daughter was bludgeoned to death and then had her head cut off and dumped in the woods naked like garbage. My heart aches for that family...and for her, Rest In Peace Merideth....my God comfort you now.
So tomorrow I guess its chill time. Then things get pretty hairy and stay that way through the weekend. And then its on to February! And packing!! WOOHOO!

ouch...
Weaning a baby hurts!
So this is over 48 hours now of weaning Laci cold turkey and my boobs are the size of honey dew melons...and about as hard!!! UGH!
Today went by soooooooooooooo slooooooooooooow too!
My mom came by and seen my dress and loved it! (Thank God)
Laci is doing great with the weaning, but I am paying my soul for it! The pain is so so so so bad! I just took my very last percocet and now I know I have no chance of getting anything else for pain :( . Hopefully this will go away before saturday or I am going to be in a pickle.
So I am off for some sleep.

A long one...
So I got a dress yesterday...not at the store i was hoping to find one but i did find one. But I accidentally left the debit card at home so I had to come home shoeless. :( So I gotta go out this week and pick up some shoes and maybe some nylons too.
This week is going to be a mad house after wednesday! Today we have our weekly errands to run as well as lunch at 1pm with Brians family for birthdays at red lobster. (must behave!)
Then wednesday I start preparing for the weekend. Thursday the flowers will be here and I have to start getting ready for those, and Friday my wonderful grandparents will be here and Debra and Brian are picking them up from the airport (THANK YOU DEBRA!!!!) and then I will meet them later at the hotel. Friday in the middle of the night James and Lorie will be at our house, Saturday I gotta get our over night bag packed and then I am picking my mom up to go get our hair and makeup done, then its getting ready and then WEDDING TIME!!
So I guess I should try to enjoy my next few "quiet" days here at the house before all chaos breaks loose, lol.
Last night I went to dinner with my friend jessie and had SO much fun, I missed her really bad and I think we are going to start having a monthly date together.
Also my milk supply has dropped significantly so we are starting the weaning process. I am sad but also relieved. Its been a long 9 1/2 months and I feel like I did my very best. Laci is happy and healthy and I am proud of myself. I will keep you all updated on our progress.
Also (again) My friend Laurie in new jersey had her baby!!! A little early but he is perfect!!! 4lbs 15 oz and 18 1/2 inches long! I cant wait to fly up there and see her! (and baby ernie!) I'll post pics of my new "nephew" when i get them!! :)

Also (again) My friend Laurie in new jersey had her baby!!! A little early but he is perfect!!! 4lbs 15 oz and 18 1/2 inches long! I cant wait to fly up there and see her! (and baby ernie!) I'll post pics of my new "nephew" when i get them!! :)

Just a boring kinda crappy day...
Looking foward to shopping with renee tomorrow looking for a dress for my moms wedding though...and shoes...and a bra...and stockings....and 2 birthday presents....and a tuxedo for topher. :)
Then I am having dinner with a friend of mine i think at chilis.
And then sunday is errands and lunch at red lobster for some of the family! :)

A cold day
MMMMM....Do you feel that?
That ice forming in your chest when you breathe in?
Yup...35* for a high today...supposed to be 15* tonight and windchills of 7* in the morning! LOL FUN!! But it will warm up soon enough and before long it will be in those wonderful 100's i love oh so much!
But I am thankful for this icey cold weather...and no, not because I am a sweaty fatty...but because last year New Years Day was 72*...and it was a sure sign of wild wacky weather for the year...and it was! We had no hurricanes, no real bad storms, and barely any rain. No hail, no snow, no ice....
So I am praying that this freezing cold weather that is making me want to snuggle down with a plate of fresh baked cookies is a sign from the heavens of a normal 2008 weather pattern!

WELCOME
2008!!!
Well, its here! 2008 has came in cold and pleasant!
I got to start the day off by sleeping until 9:30 in the morning, and then we all managed to get ready stress free to go to the mall and to get brian his CO2 for his paintball gun. We went to three different places before finding someone who had it but we got it and it was surprisingly cheap!! (4.88 at walmart) Then we went to the mall and *gasp* all the stores were closed except for the department stores....so we walked around anyways and ate lunch (i had the subway, thank you) and then *GASP* the stores started OPENING! I guess on new years day the mall opens at noon. So we walked around all over again, and I got to show brian the kind of hat I want, even though the Playboy brand one wasnt in stock. He loved it just like my mom did. Then we got some yummy scented oils warmers at Bath and Body works (on HUGE clearance), and a new power ranger blanket (also slashed down in price) for christopher. Laci whined a little but fell asleep on dad and then she was awake but happy playing with christopher (who shared his stuff) all the way home! (oh my goodness....who are these people and WHAT did they do with my family?!?!?)
So we got home and played with the paintball gun, and I started packing up all my kitchen knick knacks for the move, and then we had a nice dinner where we all laughed and had a good time.
AND....its freezing!!!! Mind you, last year it was 72* on new years day. A sure sign of a year of wierd weather to come...and it was! So now tomorrow is supposed to be even COLDER! (33* for the high and 18 for the low!!!) So I am so happy and excited with how my very great first day of 2008 went!! YAY!
Lets hope every day can be even HALF as enjoyable as today was and it will be one HELL of a year!!! :)
