Where have we been???

Oh yeah, here, with strep throat!

Yes apparently strep throat is running amuck in the southern states and decided to make a special trip down osmanthus way! Let me tell you this...I know remember why kids are freaking MISERABLE when they have this!! Strep throat freaking KILLS! owwwwwwwwwwwwww!! But finally we went to the doctors (brian has been fine, and laci was cleared yesterday...turns out she has 4 molars coming through at the same time and its coincidental, guess she just wanted to sympathize with us!) Me and Chistopher have full blown strep and he is on his antibiotics 3 times a day and i am on straight penicilin twice a day. LOL, yes the bottle says "penicilin" and I feel like I got the Clap or something with a prescription bottle like that! Anyhow day 2 of meds and christopher is up playing and feeling a lot better...til the afternoon when he crashes and burns. I still feel like absolute dog poo...but I know I must be getting better by the crap coming out of me! bleh! TMI, I am fully aware...sorry bout that.

Anywho, On to a WAY more fun topic...FLORIDA!!!! I am getting into the antsy stage now and I knew I would by the end of may early june. I have been thinking about it since I woke up this morning. Man, it is gonna be so cool to be on the beach with my kids, Laci for her first time. Build a sandcastle with christopher, for his first time...and to celebrate my 2nd anniversary with brian with the top tier of our wedding cake and champagne on the balcony! (we are making a ritual of going to daytona the week of our anniversary every year and re-ordering the exact replica of our top tier of our wedding cake so we get the same thing every year!!) But I am so excited to be taking our real first "adult family vacation" this year. We ill be on no one's time but ours. We will visit and play and eat and swim on our clock. We will decide when enough is enough for the kids, and what to have for dinner for ourselves, and we will retire whenever we want to our room for the night, no questions asked! I dont think I have ever taken a vacation like that before! But anyways, we are stoked and working hard to re-make the money for the hotel that we had to spend on the computer...and so far we are up to almost 400.00! Thats great! Plus we have the paycheck her gets the morning we leave so I know we will be fine!
I give myself all of about 2 more weeks and I will be already starting my frantic and rediculously long packing lists! ha! We are somehow going to try and pack the car I think though because of gas. I am not sure yet, but we may need to. If gas reaches the estimated 6.00/gal by july the car is our only option! ugh!

Thursday it is...

Sitting here trying to think of something to do with my kids today. I am clueless so far. I think I may take them to a store or something to get them out of the house. I could take them to a park, but Laci is taking her sweet time walking (she is 14 months today) so I am not fond of the idea of her crawling around a playground. I would take them to the pool, but its too cold still, and Laci wouldnt get in it I am sure, and I have yet to buy a bathing suit. (note to self, try old suit on today) So I am left with a short coming of ideas. I could always go to chuck e cheese and opt to not buy pizza and drinks and just spend some of the many tokens I have, but I am thinking of doing that tomorrow night when Brian gets off work and then leaving for the gym from there. I dunno. Anyhow I know we need to clean the yard a LOT and I need to finish laundry and vacuum downstairs. I know I need to wash the blankets in the house and hang them to dry and I know it wouldnt kill me to pack a few things...so more likely than not I will be staying home today and getting crap done. I may set up a pool in the yard for the kids to play in though. hmmmm Target? Anyways we are expecting the first full sun weekend this weekend and I am really hoping that we will get some more showings. Now that brian has been cleared from his cancer scare I am not scared to sell the house and memories it holds because I know we have time to make new ones in a new house now! :) *happy dance* It is memorial day weekend but as usual, Brians stupid job is determined not to give days off and he will be working, so it will be just another Monday for me next week...wooptie doo! :P
Anyhow I guess it wouldnt kill me to put on some clothes and a bra and call it a day, so I hope you all enjoy your day!

Holy Tornadoes Batman!!

yes, living in the georgia equivilent to tornado alley has once again proved disaterous. We had one touch down a whopping 1.5 miles from my house and by the hail you can tell! we have spilt trees, all my beutiful plants are ruined, my welcome statue is broken after being knowcked over, my neighbors tree was hit by lightening, and the yards are overall just a mess!
Luckily I am ok...and so are my friends. Sadly I was not called by one person to se if I was ok or not...either people dont care, dont have TV, or assume if I was hurt I would still call THEM to tell them about it. Oh well.
Anyhow I have to run for now...I will be back soon!

HE IS OKAY!!

Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for brian...after 2 terrifying weeks we finally got the call this afternoon saying my husband is perfect!!!! I just hugged him and sobbed again in relief and happiness when he told me the news! I am so very lucky to have such an amazingly wonderful husband! I love him more than words could ever explain! And now I get to know that he is in great health and we have many years left together! I am so thankful for my Brian...he is my very best friend in the whole world, I would be lost without him...he does complete me, and I love him so much!!! I am off to watch some tv with my hubby and then get the first good nights sleep in days!!!

My baby Boy is 4 years old!

Four years old! Wow...the day came and went very fast...much like the day he was born! It is now almost midnight and I am so thankful for my beautiful son. He amazes me every day. He is growing up so fast! But just when I think I want him to stop growing up he does something to remind me of all the beautiful memories I have waiting for me in the future! He is my pride and joy and one of the loves of my life. No a day goes by that I am not so thankful to be given the chance to me his mommy!

pictures will take a few days. To make a very long story short, I am figuring out my new computer since the kitten killed ours last night...thank goodness for the rebate check! Anyhow today was very nice, we got up and showed him his big surprise (a trampoline) and then we all went out to breakfast. Brian and christopher went to another little girl's birthday party and then we spent the afternoon computer shopping. He is now passed out and I am more than ready to do the same.

Christopher's Happy 4th Birthday Party!

We had so much fun today! The party was a HUGE hit! We had a rough night last night but this morning things seemed to go right from the get go! I woke up and went to get everyone breakfast at mcdonalds (felicia and christopher spent the night) and when I got back everyone was waking up. We had breakfast and finished decorating. The people with the slip and slide got there at 11:00 and set up while I went to get the cake. The Cake was AWESOME! It turned out so great and I even paid less than I expected to!! I got back and took a shower and by the time I got out people were starting to show up. The slip and slide....FRIKKIN AMAZING! That is the *coolest* thing I have ever seen! It was a massive 31 feet long and we set it up on our driveway slanted down since it had a back wall to stop you. The water was cold but the weather was perfect and before you knew it I had 10 soaking wet shivering kids running into my garage in a line to race down the massive slide! By the end of the day even us adults got on it! And if I hot the lottery I am *so* buying one of those things! I havent laughed that hard in a long long time!! Cake, gifts, and more playing all went perfect and after a while the party started to wind down. Finally around 4:00 we closed up and started to clean everything up and now Laci and Christopher are asleep. Brian is outside woking on a trampoline surprise for the morning. Christopher has no clue about the trampoline! That is his big surprise from me and daddy. Since tomorrow is his actual birthday we are getting up and taking him to breakfast and then showing him his big gift!!! I cant wait to see his face! I will come back and post lots of pictures tomorrow, but for now I have to go hold a spotlight while brian finishes the trampoline!

Wednesday again...

Yesterday was a fun day. Felicia came by in the afternoon and spent the whole day with me and then we invited a guy named Adam over for dinner to meet felicia. It was fun, and it was cool to see my friend Adam for the first time in a long time (i think since high school!)
Today I am going to keep packing stuff up and at 3:00 I have another showing at my house. The great thing about this one is that the person doesnt have an agent so MY agent gets to show the house!!! This means he can really sell the hell out of it because he knows the homes, the neighborhood, and the area!!! (remember her lives 3 doors down from me!) So I am going to spend all day working on the house to make it look extra good so he isnt embarassed.
Wish us luck!!! It only takes one person right?!?!?!?

Long Time No Post!

Life stays fairly hectic lately and its getting more and more rare to have quiet time! I usually update the journals in the morning before anyone wakes up but last week laci was up early twice and I slept in twice!

So anyhow...we still havent gotten the rebate check yet and we still havent sold our home. *sigh* We have had 2 more showings but apparently they didnt go well. I am so tired of seeing that for sale sign in our yard it isnt funny. And now we have *another* TWO for sale on our street!! That makes 6 homes total on Osmanthus way with a big stupid for sale sign in the yard! Oh well...positive thinking, right?!?

Topher is sick...again...has been for a week now. We think its allergies or a cold, but either way he has been miserable. I think he is finally on the mend now. Just in time for Brian to get sick! ugh! Oh I pray that me and Laci dont get this crap!

Topher finshed his soccer season and he really enjoyed it! He will play again in the fall and hopefully Brian will be a coach! :) I cant wait to see my husband with all those kids, he is so good with kids!

Mothers Day was nice. Christopher got me an Emerald ring from helzberg and Brian got me 200.00 (lol) well, it was for an iPod or Mp3 Player and whatever else I wanted. I bought the samsung k3 mp3 player and I love it! :) I have plans for the rest of the money too! Felicia and christopher spent the night with us and we all got up sunday morning and went to the Ryans all you can eat breakfast buffet together as what is becoming one big family! hahaha! The kids were all great and even Laci had a good time! We laughed and had a ton of good food and it was a very nice morning! We had a BBQ at our huose for dinner and my mom, steve, and joey came over. (david had to work) It was nice and my mom really liked her gifts! :) yay!

Today I think I may take the kids out somewhere to kill some time. I have been missing Brian really bad lately while he is at work. Its not fair that you have to work your youth away and then you only get that needed time with your spouse when you are older and retired. I want my husband home now. Why cant I hit that friggin lottery already?!?!? *sigh*

Anyways, I am excited for christophers birthday coming on saturday and hopefully we will have good weather and a good turnout with folks!

So let me tell you....

Broken bones suck! Yup yours truly is sitting here with her foot in a medical boot on vicodin! Turns out yesterday when I slid into the couch running to a wailing 3 year old I busted myself up pretty good.

See Topher was playing outside in the back yard with the neighbors boys. Next thing you know, he comes in the house screaming he was hit with a big stick by one of them. He is holding his hands over his face (although I later figured out he got hit in the arm) so I freaked out and ran downstairs to help him. I got going faster than I had meant to and ended up slipping and slid into the couch and jammed my foot under it into the part that meets the ground. As of this morning it was swollen, black, and I couldnt bend the toe and hardly walk.

4 hours at the ER later...yep, broken...and a stressed ligament to boot!

So now I am sitting here aggravated that I have not been to the gym in almost 3 freaking DAYS and bored of laying around. *sigh*

So...I hope everyone else has had a better week! See, thats what I get for being determined to LIKE mondays!! HA!

Happy tuesday folks!

Its only been four days...

That doesnt make me too much of a slacker on here does it?? haha

The week went nicely last week, not a whole lot of amazing stuff happened. Laci still isnt walking yet...even though we know she could if she wanted to...and I am late getting christophers birthday invites in the mail. I usually try and get them out and delivered 2 weeks in advance, but I will have to put them in the mail tomorrow as I am out of stamps and was WAY too tired yesterday to get them finished up.
Saturday night was fun to a degree. The club sucked so bad and was so lame that at 11:34 I was ready to come back home...but we ended up killing a few more hours and I crawled in sometime after 2am!! I enjoyed spending some quality time with my friends away from the house and it was good for my soul. I went friday night to the mall and took the kids and we spent a few hours there. I went to the Gym on monday, wednesday, and saturday...and will be going today as well. (well tonight) I am also starting my cardio every other day that I am not at the gym and I am really enjoying it! :) I hope to see at least 10 pounds shed by the vacation.
Sunday we did our grocery shopping at walmart for the second time, and again was shocked surprised at the amount of food we can get for us for the little amount of money! I mean we seriously thought we had spent close to 200.00 because we needed all toiletries, paper plates, ziplock bags, a kiddie pool, special snacks for laci, and a bunch of other stuff (like more silver ware) and only spent 128.oo! We are deffinatelt going to continue shopping there!
Today I dont have a lot of plans. I was going to make margaritas and nachos for dinner, but brian will be eating nachos, and instead of ingesting a few hundred calories in liquid form, I am hitting the gym for an hour! Today I need to start getting some things together, and I have one more month of my 7:15 wake up time, before I start training myself to get up early for school starting in August! Yep, finally my time has come where I will be getting up at 6am to get lunches made, bookbags cleaned, and clothes laid out! I still cannot believe that Christopher starts Pre-K this year!!! Holy cow where does the time go?
Anyhow its Monday, but I have decided today I will embrace monday and not hate it so much. Its going to be a beautiful sunny day and I am going to spend some good quality time with the kids! I may even take them to the playground! :)

And now for some something a bit more serious.

Brian has been having a few "off" symptoms lately and now we have noticed that he has dropped a good 15 pounds or more in the last 2 months. We are nervous because of family history and we have decided that he will go get a complete physical this friday to have some bloodwork done and see what is going on. We are praying its nothing more than stress, or just not taking in so many calories. But please just say a little prayer that his bloodwork all comes back ok and that my husband is good and healthy! I cant stand the thought of anything happening to him...I'd be lost without him.

And grandpa, we all are thinking of you during your surgery today! We love you. (we love you too grandma!)

Happy May everyone! Yes, its may...this will be a VERY busy month for me...at least on the weekends! And my little boy is turning FOUR! Oh wow...four years old already! Its seems like just yesterday I was laying in a hospital bed being told by a nurse that I was pregnant. And now...in 17 days...he is four!! Wow...

We also have mothers day, the circus, 2 birthday parties, christophers party, and a zillion other things! eek! :)

Today, however, I have nothing to do. I am bored already and now without a vehicle since brian couldnt find his truck keys this morning! bleh!
