Here to report the news of the Pruitt home.
1. Good news! Brian has 2 interviews for both today and Tuesday. One today is a man who has a pretty aggressive and booming body shop who is "needing someone bad" and wants brian to come see him today at 11 and by the end of the day he is sure that "they can both walk away happy". So I am hoping to God that that means a big steady paycheck...he also is seeing Allstate on Tuesday which is a really good chance to be out of the shops and into a real career. He would be a field agent and his hours would be 8-4:30 and he should get paid well there as well. **crosses fingers**
2. We looked at a possible Apartment yesterday. It is very nice and offers everything we could hope for in our worst case scenario lifestyle. I think this may be the one for us and I am hoping all our ducks line up and we can get in by the end of April. It is called the Mill at Chastain. Super nice place and so very "us".
3. I am getting ready for my big solo mission to Daytona next week! I am so excited to see my grandparents again. A girl can get used to the princess treatment a few times a year! ;) Seriously though, I am so happy and looking foward to a few days of rest and relaxation and maybe some shopping at the big flea market! :) I love you guys and will see you in 6 more days! woot!!!
4. I have got to finish up Laci's invites today for her birthday. In all the madness I am losing sight of this big day coming up fast of my baby girl turning TWO! It is some crazy shizz! I have so much to do to get ready still and the day is quickly approaching. I dont foresee too many guests b/c well, people suck. Plain and simple...somewhere somehow, adult birthdays have become more to celebrate than those of babies. It makes me sick, personally. Like Christmas and Easter and Halloween...this is a HUGE day for KIDS. Yet again I have to hear the same tired excuses I have been hearing since may of 2005 over why people cant make it...but I guess they can see them for Memorial Day or Christmas and get their gift then right? 4 year olds and 2 year olds understand that mentality right? **eyeroll** People need to get right with things in life!! /end rant/
5. Its friday...that mena snothing more this week to me than knowing that tomorrow I will hear the kids fighting all day. I was suppossed to see jesse this morning but now its raining so thats out. Tomorrow we have a bday party at her house and Sunday we are going to take the kids somewhere...we just dont know where yet. (someplace cheap!! ha!)
Anyhow I am getting off here, I have a lot of cleaning to do since this weekend starts our crazy home price and we expect a lot of traffic soon. So we better get off our sorry pity party keisters and get in gear around here.

I gotta get on here again eventually...
So why not start today?
So, as you all know we are hurting...bad. I have been trying to be cool and calm and positive, but after sitting in the unemployment office yesterday morning with Brian and Laci I lost my strength and folded and had a worse evening. I am trying hard to be positive again this morning, but I am finding it harder. Yesterday was the first day that no one called his phone at all, which kinda freaked me out as well.
On a very positive note, however, my grandma helped us buy a new washing machine! It is an absolute beauty that we got in the scratch and dent section of a local Lowes. Its a Maytag front loader HE washer that is 3.7 cu. ft and retails for 899.00. But after some haggling and an already staggeringly reduced brice, we got it for 481.00!!! so it was only 181.00 out of our pockets and is the kind of washing machine laundry dreams are made of!! I couldnt be more hapy about it or more humbled and appreciative either. I still have no clue how to thank you guys! I love you and will see you in a week or so! XOXO!!

Anyhow, brian is out in a busy part of town today that is doing good in the automotive business still passing out applications and resumes today. I can only keep praying that maybe today will be the day that ends with him getting a new job.
Today we are dropping the house to 125k. Its a huge hit but its for the best. If we can sell now for that price we can move into an appartment in kennesaw and move on from this terrible ordeal without risking a foreclosure. Its amazing how short the distance is between a happy comfortable life having nothing. May our life be an example to those who may take their health, jpbs, or family for granted.

Keeps gettin' better...
So not only has brian been layed off, but now we all have had the stomach flu severely. (well except Christopher, I am praying he gets on without it). Last night was my turn after 3 days of a sensitive belly and now I am oh so sick. I have lost 8 pounds of fluids in 48 hours. :( Laci had hers starting the day brian got fired and Brian over the weekend! Fun!
AND while we are trying to battle the laundry with pukey towels and pillows and blankets...our freaking washer machine DIED last night. And we are living off the taxes that could have bought a new one. So now we are going to be taking a nasty trip to the area Laundromat with 15 loads of germ infested puked on crap so we actually have stuff.
Holy crap! What else?!?!?!?!?!

Since the news has been leaked...
Sadly on Thursday Brian was released from his position at work after nearly 4 years due to cutbacks b/c the shop he was at has been struggling for a long time now, and even though he was by far the most qualified and best, most loyal employee in the office, he was still the "newbie" even after the years he has been there. And they decided to look at years as seniority, rather than character or work history, so Brian was the one cut.
Please pray for our little family to be able to get through this and hold our heads up and find the silver lining in this very sudden unforseen cloud. We have never in our lives experienced losing a job for doing nothing more than being the newest on board.
Not much else I feel like writing on right now.

Thursday.
I am lacking in the witty department this morning. ;)
So it is Thursday. Had fun watching a funnel cloud form in front of our house yesterday as our second tornado warning of the year so far played out. I have a feeling that this spring is going to be bad and worse than usual due to our lack of cool dry air this winter. I am greatful that the funnel we seen yesterday never made it to the ground, but what a sight it was to see! I have never seen cloud masses gather and swirl like that before. I am 90% sure I seen a second funnel as well a few mins later but it was so dark I could not be 100% sure! Crazy!
Anyhow I finally went back to the gym last night. I was unable to go all week because Laci was nuts all week and was up literally all night. I went to the doc on Tuesday. I had some bloodwork done and some evaluations done and whatnot. Turns out I have great cholesterol and iron and thyroid. I am severely hypoglycemic and turns out that bread and sugar hurt me more than the average joe. This next week I am going to work hard to add more meat and veggies to my diet. But it will be hard...and expensive, but a key to me losing this baby weight. I also was given meds for my migrains, since monday night I almost went to the hospital b/c my head hurt so bad I thought I was having a stroke. It was so scary and awful. And I had a bout of chills that lasted hours. 3 blankets a heater and brian could not warm me to make me stop shivering.
I did good at the gym, but I was so tired I was afraid I may pass out. I wanted to get in at least and hour and a half, but only managed an hour. But Laci slept good again last night so I am feeling much better today. I will be back at the gym tomorrow. :)
Today I dont have much planned, it will be colder and dry but wet outside from the rain. So it looks like another indoor day. Bleh! I wish there was more to do inside. :/
Welp I am going to go now, I am on borrowed time with Laci who wants me watching Mickey Mouse with her instead of being on here. LOL!

Good Monday to you!
Its a chilly morning here in N. Ga, but its a day all the same. The kids are both home today since its presidents day and I wont get any mail which kills the most exciting time of the day for me, lol.
The weekend was good. Saturday we had a nice breakfast for Valentines day and in the afternoon went to meet another family at DACKids. The kids had a good time except for Laci who was mostly cranky the whole time, but still had moments of normalcy where she actually played and seemed to enjoy herself. *shakes head* That kid is crazy I swear she is! Anyhow the family was very nice and we seemed to hit it off well. It went much better and smoother than I had anticipated. Saturday everning we just relaxed and tried to get to bed early since Laci has had us up all night almost every night this last week. Sunday I was so tired b/c Laci had me up again, and I was not the sunshiny-est person in the morning. We got the house done though and left for the open house. Which did result in 2 different people looking at it, and one is a real possibility in the future. But who knows, I just cant get my hopes up anymore on possibilities with this house. While we were gone we drove past a few houses I had been looking at online to see if the were ones we may want to see in real life...but they werent. We took the kids out to Stevie Bs pizza and to petsmart to look at the animals. Then we went to a playground at one of the elementary schools we have been considering and were really impressed. And b/c I was so impressed, now I want to make Kennesaw our home again instead of Marietta! LOL! I will never make up my mind!! :P
Anyhow today I am taking the kids to browse through a big thrift store and then maybe to Mcdonalds for lunch. This evening I will finally go back to the gym after a week and 1/2! I am awake, I slept well, and I am determined not to let anything keep me from getting back into my routine now! I am not sick and am anxious to get back to getting in shape and feeling alive again! :)

HAPPY VD!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!
As you know last night me and Brian got to have our date night. We went to Bahama Breeze which was fabulous! We ate tons of yummy food (which I am about to finish for lunch) and had a Pina Colada each as well.
Then we went to watch Friday the 13th! And it was absolutely freaking awesome!!!!! I am so excited that they picked up a good old fashion slice 'em and dice 'em movie like this and I hope the series continues. (I would also love anther Devil's Rejects but I know we cant have everything we want in life! LOL) It was a great movie that stayed true to its original form and was chock full of blood and boobies, lol, just like every other Friday the 13th!
After the movie we went home and took Joey home. He has special plans with his girlfriends family today and he wanted to be sure he was home in the morning early enough so we just took him last night. Laci is still getting up a lot at night but at least she is getting better as now the shreaking and screaming is at an end. I hate what a sickness like this does to her sleep schedual. Bleh!
So in a while we will be leaving to take the kids out to the Pirate's Cove indoor playground and then tonight me and Brian will be working on our house for the open house tomorrow. It will be from 1-4 in the afternoon. I hope the rain stops though so we may actually get someone in. It seems like everytime we plan one of these it frigging rains! ugh!!

Happy FRIDAY THE 13TH!!
WOOOOOO SPOOOOKY!!
Well its friday (the 13th in case you didnt know) and its the day that Christopher is having his Valentines Day party in school for the first time, and tonight is the night that me and Brian get to celebrate Valentines day by going out for dinner and a movie. I am so excited for the movie toight!! It will be the first time I am seeing a "real" horror movie in a theater. I dont consider all these foo foo nothing but blood for effect only movies they keep popping out. I mean real, grisly , nasty, holy crap this really could happen to me horror movies! I cannot believe they are remaking this movie!!! eek!! I am beyond giddy...AND I get to eat at my favorite place ever too! (Bahama Breeze) YUMMY!!!
So last night me and the kids made cupcakes for brians job and for his class. Then we filled out his spongebob valentines for everyone in his class. I tried to let him fill out the names but by the third one (after Harlie and Nina) came "Gabriella" and that was all I could handle. LOL. So I finished the rest myself. He was relieved as well because it wal almost 9 at night and he was getting very tired. I cant believe today my little man is doing his first valentines day exchange in school. I love that. It makes me teary again. I remember how amazingly fun valentines was in elementary school when I was a kid. The Valentines were cheesy and most filled out in grown-up handwritting, but they were the best!!! :)
Today I dont have a ton planned. I am getting Christopher from school at 3, and Joey sint off school til 5:30, so Brian will just get him on the way home. I will order a pizza and have it delivered BEFORE we leave this time, and hopfully the kids will do great with him. We wont be gone for too long, and when we get back we have to take him home. But its just dinner and a movie, nothing crazy. It would be different if it was a saturday and we had a babysitter for a longer time. Maybe next year. :)
Tomorrow we will be meeting a couple and their kids at www.dackids.com to play for the afternoon. The family is that of Christopher's little girlfriend Alica in school. I know he is already excited to go! :)

YAY Christopher!!!!
MY BABY BOY IS READING!!!!!
I got to sit and watch him read the whole first book in the hooked on phonics set after school today in his phonics class with Mrs. Heather!!! I had huge tears! I am so proud of him! Brian just bought the whole set so he can keep practicing at home and through the summer! :)

I'm awake! I'm awake!!!! 9 1/2 hours later and I am awaaaake!! woot!!
Ok, now I feel better. The kids are slowly getting better and Christopher is back at school today for the first time since Thursday and Laci is still asleep at 8:10! I got great sleep last night and I feel better!! Last night I was on the verge of crying I was so extreamly exhausted. But now I am ready to embrace the day...but not so much the severe thunderstorms coming this afternoon! bleh!
We have decided to do Laci's birthday at our house this year as I am 99.999% sure we will be here the day of still. So next year we will start her big birthday parties, but this year we will keep it simple and light. Plus we already know we wont have a huge turnout anyhow since bdays for our kids are getting less and less attention from family members.
Anyhow tonight brian is taking Joey to go get his girlfriend something for valentines day in exchange for him babysitting for us on friday night. It would be so nice to have a night away but I will happily take dinner and a movie :). Maybe this summer me and brian can escape for a night to a hotel in Atlanta without the kids. That would be so nice!
Today is going to be a fairly uneventful as we are expecting the storms. But this afternoon I have to go get some stuff for the cupcakes for Christopher's friday party as well as the invites for Laci's birthday. I am so excited for her party! And I am also excited that I am the official cupcake mommy in Christopher's class!! :) Sweet!

huh?...wha???
Holy God I am so tired today! I am too tired to get into a huge replay of my last 24 hours, so we will just say that we took the kids to the doc, both have viruses, they are on amoxil and cough syrup for 10 days. Both are still miserable, Laci was up all night long...I am on 3 hours of sleep I have a pounding headache from hormones, and I am so tired I could vomit. Brian is at work and both kids are home again. I need a vacation! Wahhh!!!!
Anyhow no, I am not preggers...but I am currently really regretting the vasectomy decision we made. :( However someone else may be. But I cant say anything, its HIS news to tell. Thats as far as I will go because I dont think I crossed a line there. :D LOL!

*yawn* Happy Monday...
welp, kids are both sick. Going to the doctors this morning. I thought it was just allergies, but they both have been coughing their heads off for days now, and are snotty...but Laci's is in her chest badly and keeping her up all night and last night she spiked a fever. So, its off to the Doctors today. At least they made it through December and January relatively unscathed. My allergies are acting up, but it is nothing I didnt see coming with 39* last week, and 70 over the weekend.
The weekend was busy and nice and warm. Other than the kids being sick it was enjoyable all the way around. We had a lot of people pull fliers from the box, but no showings. :( We are having an open house this next weekend on the 15th, and we renew our contract tomorrow.
I am hopeful that we will sell in the next 3 months. That is my goal before panic and freak out mode begins as time comes very close to enroll Christopher in a elementary school.
Today will be another beautiful day, but with both kids home sick, I dont know how much of it I will get to enjoy. Mother nature brought me a gift for staying up all night last night first thing this morning to top it off. :P Bleh!
This weekend will be nice as me and Brian are going on Friday night to dinner and the opening night of Friday the 13th!!!!! woooooooooooooot!~!! I am rediculously excited about this movie!!! :D
Anyhow I hope all are well. I have some huge news I am not allowed to reveal which sucks, but everyone will know soon enough as I should have a right to blog about life changing events...and thats all I am saying for now! ugh! People!! **shakes head**

The weekend was busy and nice and warm. Other than the kids being sick it was enjoyable all the way around. We had a lot of people pull fliers from the box, but no showings. :( We are having an open house this next weekend on the 15th, and we renew our contract tomorrow.

Good Thursday...
Well my mood is a bit better today. I got the phone back on and I got a ood night sleep and got up early with Christopher to get him ready for school which I never do hardly. Brian bought me a Caramel Macchiato this morning and I am sipping it now in the small window of peace I will have before Laci is up for the day.
Its Thursday, the house was so cold last night, even with the heat and space heaters it was still cold. That chilly to the bone feeling. Ugh. I wouldnt mind it so bad if it was just accompanied by snow, once! This has been the first year that I can remember that it didnt snow at all. I hope it has just been a weather fluke and not a more ominous sign of the state of the planet, but either way it has been wierd.
This weekend will be nice and sunny and warm, with highs almost in the 70s...which is likely to make more people sick the following week, but what can you do right?
I dont know what we have planned for this weekend, but I am sure if anything it will include lots of playing outside time! And that I think we are all looking foward to. :)
So not much on the agenda again today. It will be too cold for much and My odd schedual with Christopher's school limits my activity in the afternoon. Probably just another day of being inside...but at least it will be sunny. :)

Laci tried to put her own pants on yesterday and started saying (perfectly clearly btw) "Disgusting", lol!

Wow what a slow week....
Gotta love that today the high will be 29* with a low tonight of 14*, but by sunday we will be 65* and sunny. Georgia weather, making people go crazy since 1800!
Anyhow, my phone is off. Its a glitch in the system at T-Mobile, but none the less I am home all day as bad as it is already alone but now I have no phone either. And it looks like it will be the weekend before I have it again. I am slowly going crazy here all day alone and having the biggest conversations of my day in my head alone or with a 4 year old or 22 month old....or the cats of course.
Thank GOD i am going to the gym tonight. I need to at least SEE other people even if none of them talk to me. I did have one smile at me last time so I am making progress, no?
Yesterday I went to Party City with the kids after picking up Christpher and we decided on a Theme for Laci's second birthday! We are going with My Little Pony! :)

Happy February!
Another month down in this crazy ride called life! Man has it been a busy weekend!!
Lets start by saying...
GO STEELERS!!!!! The winners of the SUPERBOWL!
Anyhow, this weekend was so busy. But very very fun. :) Friday I decided against the gym because I was missing everyone at home, so I stayed home and we ate dinner take out (chicken enchiladas) and rented some movies. After Laci went to bed we all watched Wall-e and christopher ended up passing out on the floor. LOL. Then we called it a night.
Saturday I had the whole day to myself!! Brian took the kids to his grandfathers house and I went out to the gym, then the thrift store, and then met my friend jesse out at the mall where we had lunch and walked around for hours. Then we went to a gag shop and out to dinner! I had such an amazing relaxing day that I came home feeling refreshed and rejuvinated...at almost 9pm! haha!!
Sunday we went to breakfast and I gave in to pancakes, :( , but I was good for the rest of the day. The kids really enjoyed their smile-face pancakes at IHOP and Laci actually ate more of hers that Christopher ate of his!! Then we went to Home Depot and picked up some more mulch, a new bird feeder and seed, and some soil. We went home and worked in the yard til it was done. Then with Laci asleep, me Brian, and Christopher all jumper on the trampoline for an hour or so. Then we packed up the Kabobs (turkey, onlion and green pepper) and sweet tea and huge fruit salad and went to Jesse and Gary's for a dinner. The kids played so hard for hours and we got in some good adult time with our friends and played some serious Air Hockey! We ate dinner and headed home around 7:30 last night to get the kids in bed and finish watching the super bowl! Where our boys won! woot!!
Anyhow, today is Monday, and its suppossed to be wet and nasty. :( And its the first day of the new month. This month is going to fly by and will be super busy!! I have to start planning Laci's birthday! and we have our big date night, and the kids are going to the aquarium, and we have an open house, and we renew our realtor contract! whew!! So anyhow, hope you all have a wonderful monday!
