Havent heard anything from any of my family in Florida about my grandpa. I know my grandma is busy and no one else seemed to find it important to let me know he was even in the hospital, let alone his status. Its cool though. I am still worried and praying for the best...whatever it may be, I know its what is best.
I am looking foward to the weekend. Tomorrow is going to be really nice. We are getting up really early and making a big cooler up and then heading to Christopher's first T-ball game. Then after the game we are heading down to the lake for the day. I am really excited because the weather has been crap this month. As of the 28th we had recorded rain on 22 days!! Bleh! But this weekend is supossed to be hot and sunny and we are taking full advantage of that fact!!
Sunday will be another hot and sunny day and we will let the kids help us decide if we wanna do a second day at the lake or stay home and hit the pool. I am hoping for lake! LOL!
Tomorrow we are going to the lake with our friends Brannon and Francis and the girls.
Last night was so funny, Laci was wearing a pair of christopher's undies and running around chasing him and pulling them down and mooning him! Then she was running around with the undies at her knees chasing christopher. It was so funny!
Also last night we went to the pool, it is sad to hear christopher say to go "swim" now..last year it was "flim" I loved when he said we were going "flimming", so cute! ;)
Welp I am off to do whatever Friday brings to me.

also on a side note, the Pruitt family will *not* be planning a daytona trip. As of Wednesday, Brian's chicago trip was changed from June to July...just in time for him to miss my birthday, our wedding anniversary, and possibly Christopher's kindergarten open house! BLEH!

GRANDPA IS HOME AGAIN! YAY!!! :)
Please pray for my grandma for strength and the ability to get a much needed long nap in today. And for the topsy turvy fairy to fill her tomato plant with yummy fruit! ;) Thanks for the update grandma, I love you!

First day of summer vacation!
Hope everyone's memorial day was a good one! I am typing while laci rubs waaay too much baby magic into my legs at the computer desk!
The weekend went great! Saturday I hosted my passion party, and even though I only ended up with 7 girls, 8 including Karrie, we had a great time! We laughed a lot and some friends ended up staying into the early evening hours!
Sunday we worked around the house, we didnt do a lot because of the rain. Brian took Christopher to see Terminator, or as Christopher says, "Termineighbor", haha! They enjoyed it. I was jealous a bit, but I was fair and let brian go, even though he said I could have gone, because next month I get to take Christopher to see Transformers! Sweeet!
Monday we got up and went to the pool between rain showers. I didnt get in, but Brian and the kids did. Both kids liked it a lot. Laci is my dangerous one though. She was all about running around and jumping into the pool, where as Christopher just did the lazy laps around. We then dried off (the kids were turning blue) and walked over to the park. We let the kids play til it started getting nasty looking and we went to get lunch at wendys. After that we took laci for a nap, then went to Walmart for groceries. We grilled out and had a nice evening in. Me and brian stayed up late talking, it was very nice.
This morning I am dragging a bit, I have 3 goals today, get the TV hooked up in laci;s room, wash the dog, and get back to the gym tonight after being sick all week. Wish me luck! Ha! The weather sucks again today. There wont be a whole lot of going outside. It will be a mostly indoor week as a matter of fact thanks to our never ending supply of rain here in GA. :( Bleh! But the forecast calls for a warm, sunny beginning of June next week and we will be buuuusy!!! :) This weekend is Topher's first T-ball game and I am so excited! I got these cute baseball decorated cupcakes for the team snack and juice boxes! :) And brian found some baseball stickers to give each player at the end of the game! :) Cuteness!

This is it!!
Christopher's last day of Pre-K!!! My little man has (quickly) finished his first of many years in school and he did an amazing job. He also was lucky enough to have three amazing teachers who mean the world to me. They guided these kids with so much fun and love and easy goingness (is that a word?) that it made such an wonderful positive affect on the kids and now Christopher is actually excited about starting "big boy" school in the fall!!! I am so very proud of my little munchkin. He is happy to be out for the summer too, so I guess that excitment starts early! LOL. Good bye pre-k, its been beautiful and bittersweet. :)
Last night Brian and I went to the YMCA to have brian coach his first team meeting/practice. We had a lot of kids show up and they are the cutest bunch of rugrats I have ever seen!! Brian did amazing as a coach even though he was scared to death that he would "mess up". The dads all got on the field and it was so fun for the kids! Christopher loved it. I would have loved it more, but I had just gotten back from the doctor and I have a severe sinus infection and a double ear infection. I am on amoxilcillan and mucinex, Brian had taken yesterday off, but is back to work today.
Today I am not doing a whole lotta nothing again, and will probably spend my evening in bed. Tomorrow I have my party! Yay! :) If it doesnt rain, we are going to try and do the lake one day this weekend, and then see my mom and steve and joey too, so I need to get better soon!!
On a very sad note, I got some more bad news about my grandpa last night before the practice and I want to ask again for everyones prayers for comfort, and as much time as my grandparents can have with each other. I love you both so much!! :(

Hello again Monday...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BABY BOY! THE BIG 5 YEARS! MOMMY IS SO PROUD OF YOU! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

So hello everyone! What a weekend!! Whew!! Thanks to all the prayers, God gave us the best day we could have asked for in the forecast that we were given. While it was cloudy til almost 5pm, we didnt get any rain at all!! I got up on Saturday and made the final call with a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms to just go for it and pray for the best and the best is what we got! :) No one from his class showed, well except for Alica's family, but they have become friends to us and not just someone christopher goes to school with. But we had lots of people! All our close friends showed and the kids all had a blast on the water slide! The BBQ hot dogs and chips were a hit with everyone and the cake was amazing!! Christopher wasnt really into the water slide though and only got on it a few times. Laci loved it though! She finally passed out around 3:45 in Joey's arms. So sweet! :) Even Joey's girlfriend Sydney came! Debra brought awesome pirate masks and tattoos and even the adults and babies left tattooed! It was so funny!! The last guests left at almost 7pm! What a day!! And finally I got to bed around 10:30...rediculously sore and bruised and wiped out! :P
Saturday morning, Brian took the kids to the meet and greet for T-ball at the YMCA before the birthday party since he is the coach and couldnt get out of it. But he got to meet most the kids that Christopher will be playing with and one mom pulled her son from the team to go to another more "professional" team, lol! This thursday we will have a team meeting at the Y and go over some basic rules and familiarize the kids with the bases, ball, tee, and field. Then on the 30th is the first game at 8:00am!
This saturday is my passion party! I am so excited and hope to have some people show up to it! I am really looking foward to it! Its my first ever all girls party at the house and I am stoked! :)
Welp, my little man is on his first of his last 5 mornings he will be getting up and headed to Kennesaw for Pre-k! Its hard to believe that the whole school year is over already! It scares me to think that the rest of his school years will pass as fast! He is excited and we are all ready for summer, so I am ready to let go of this year. I am going today to bring pizza for the class for lunch since its his birthday and then taking him home early. He is excited to know I will be there with pizza! I plan on taking pics of his class and teachers too and his friends and him. I know he will treasure those pics when he gets older. Then its 4 more days and its over!! Wow! So very bittersweet!
So, I hope you all have a beautiful day, I am off here now to get ready to go in a while to his school and continue to clean the house from the weekend!!

TGIF!!!
I ♥ Friday!! It means all my hard work for the week has paid off and I will soon be rewarded with 2 days of help and company!! Yay! The forecast still calls for scattered showers tomorrow and I am scared his birthday may be a complete washout. Today is my last chance to cancel the big water slide, but I am scared to do it. I guess I will just push on get it here, and if its a nasty day see if I can haggle them into not charging me for the day. Man I am scared to death! Next year I am going to do a pool party instead I think, or a lake party. I have a million things to do today. I have to get the paperware and plasticware for the party, I have to get an email sent out to all the parents in the Tball team to get them ready for the meet and greet tomorrow, and I have to get the house cleaned and get all my chairs and seating figured out for everyone tomorrow. I have no clue how I am going to do this, I guess we will eat cake and stuff in the house...man I dont even know. I am suddenly scared about more people coming than I can fit in my house!!
Anyhow its supposed to rain this afternoon again and tomorrow, again. I am so sick of the rain! Its rained more in the last few months than I ever remember it raining here in GA, its crazy!

5 more days...
And my little man is FIVE years old!!! My oh my where has the last 5 years gone? Seems like I can close my eyes and still smell that hospital room and see that tiny body in that bassinet with just the dim light of my hospital bed lighting the room and see brian passed out on that tiny strip of foam they call a bench in the room with us. Seems like just yesterday my little man was so tiny and in his pure tiny body he held my reason to live. In those blue eyes he looked at me and in a second saved my life. And now, in a blink of an eye, my little man is all giggles when I read his birthday invitations in true pirate form, "Ahoy me hearties, its a paaaaarty"! He is getting prepared to graduate pre-k and is growing up on me so very fast. I cant believe how beautiful and magical these first five years have been, and its only the unknown beauty of the next 5 to come that allows me to let go and watch him grow again from this little boy to a young man. God has blessed me everyday that he has given me with my two children, and in this sad week of mourning the life of Cheyenne, he has granted me the ability to be surrounded with the love I have here at home.

Monday...
Hope everyone had a very happy mother's day! Mine started off great with breakfast in bed of chocolate chip pancakes and coffee with gifts and Laci rubbed lotion into my arms...even when I had had enough! LOL!!
After breakfast we all played in the garage and with playdoh and then I had to get ready to go get my mom. Me and my mom went to Bahama Breeze and sat out on the deck. It was sunny and warmish and there was a guy singing a playing guitar right in front of our table! We were given roses by the waiters and we had a yummy lunch with a pina colada for my mom and a bahama mama for me! :) After lots of laughs and good food and entertainment we headed over to Ulta and looked at perfume and sunglasses, then we went to the mall to look in Victoria Secret for something for my mom with her giftcard she got from steve. She finally settled on this *smokin hot* red bathing suit that I think she looks incredible in! We had a fun time there. By the time we left the clouds were rolling in so I took her home. It was a great time and made my day complete.
Sadly my mothers day was almost ruined last night when someone in my life decided that it was a good idea to try and cut me down to nothing and let me know that a lot of other people felt the same as her. She claims I also say hurtful things about her and others here in my blog, but if anyone reads this regularly would know that this is NOT a place I do that. This person also wanted to make it clear that I apparently have a made a choice to stay home for no other reason but my own selfishness and that I am not a hard worker and that my job is easy because I have a blog and get on facebook during the day. (btw, I leave my comp on all day and facebook is always an open window) and that she doesnt feel sorry for me in the least because I have "no desire" to change my current situation. I wasnt able to fall asleep until almost 1am after all this and I was up before 6 with a bad dream. I was going to try and get back into the gym tonight but my eyes are already burning and I know I will be walking dead by this afternoon, so not only did this person pretty much ruin my wonderful mothers day she has also pretty much soured my monday as well. Hope she is happy.
Also if anyone reads this who doesnt think kindly of me, please do us all a favor and quit playing charades. I have no interest in maintaining relationships with anyone who doesnt value them. Lets cut our losses and move on.
Welp I am glad I got that out. I hardly ever post this kind of stressful crap on here b/c I know my gma will read this now and be upset, but this is my blog, my diary and a place I can get things off my mind and my chest. Sorry for the sour note this morning.

Thursday.
First reading of the 10 day forecast shows a sunny day of 82* for the bday party on the 16th! PLEASE GOD let it stay like that!!!! I am so scared that i booked an outside birthday party in one of the rainiest years in a long time! *crosses fingers*
Not much to report on the old homefront. Kids are the same, husband is the same, house is looking the same...including the dishes I didnt do yesterday, and I am the same...and the rainy weather has been the same but now it looks like it could be nice-ish from now til tomorrow afternoon...that would be nice as our yards look like hell from all the rain and everyones flowers are dying from being waterlogged! We need to dry out here in GA!

Rainy monday....
But its a good day!! I took christopher this morning to Liberty to have his Kindergarten placement testing done, aaaaaand...
he scored a perfect 20 out of 20!!! Most kids get in the 12-15 range, a lot with pre-k get in the 17 range, but only so many get the full 20!! The teacher said "he did great! He is all set for kindergarten...maybe even 1st grade! We will see him in the fall, I know he will do wonderfully" :) YAY!!!! My baby boy is so smart!! ♥ **mommy gloat!**
Anyhow the weekend was good. Saturday we decided to go to the circus. Poor laci was too small to ride anything, but christopher had a good time and they both enjoyed most of the actual circus performance. We went home and the kids played for the rest of the day before the rain had us in for the night. Sunday was groceries, and then I went to lunch with my friend Jesse for 3 hours! LOL!! It was good for me though and I needed the break.
Friday I spend painting and cleaning and re-arranging christophers room. He now has a complete bedroom and is loving every second of it! :)
We got the water slide rented for his birthday on friday too. :)

Happy May!!
Oh so much going on here! Christopher's wall is up and we no longer have an open loft!!! He loves it, we love it, and it will be getting painted that beautiful (yet annoyingly nutty takes 15 coats to cover) dark blue to match today. That means the next things will have to wait til refinance time and that will be our kitchen and the kids playground. I am very anxious for them both!
On a different note, I am worried about this swine flu. We now have it here in GA and I am not so worried about myself or brian getting it, but I dont want to see my kids get it. :( I guess only time will tell, but this is scary enough as it is, and the only time in my life I have seen something like it.
Yesterday we went to get the invites for Christophers birthday. They have discontinued the hot wheels line though so he wanted Pirates of the Carribean instead. I had to buy it all though as they are clearencing it to get rid of that line too! Ugh! S o we have decided on the Aqua Tunnel that can be seen on www.herecomesfun.com in the water inflatables section. I know we will have a blast!!
Welp Laci is mad so I am off to cater...have a wonderful weekend!! USE PURELL!!

btw, Grandma I am SOOOO jealous! I have been wanting a topsey turvey forever and keep putting off buying it!!! Now I have to get my butt to ace hardware! I want to do a cherry tomato one for the kids! :)
On a different note, I am worried about this swine flu. We now have it here in GA and I am not so worried about myself or brian getting it, but I dont want to see my kids get it. :( I guess only time will tell, but this is scary enough as it is, and the only time in my life I have seen something like it.
