Its been one hell of a week and a half...and I am so ready for a new week, a new routine, and a new layout and song choice for my blog!
We will start with the much over due wish to my baby girl's Happy THIRD birthday!!!! My sweet southern belle is three now! She had a great party with lots of friends to play with on a beautiful sunny day on the lake in the playground. We got there on time, got our tables with no issues, and even brian successfully cooked on a charcoal grill for the first time! We had some of my friends come, and my family of course...and that was all. But it was more than enough. We laughed and took pictures and blew bubbles and laughed at the kids and enjoyed the sweet soft air of early spring. It was one of the nicest birthday to date and I couldnt have been happier with the turnout. She was beautiful on her big day and all was right in the world. :)
On Monday (the 22nd) we took Mauser to petsmart with Clover and got both boys chipped. Santiago met us there for the exchange. Clover did great in the store. When it came time to hand Mauser over, the tears wouldnt stay back. In my heart I had made a terrible mistake and he was mine to keep, but I let him go anyways. I cried for the next 2 days. But on Tuesday I got to see just how very happy he was in his new home. Not mopey as I had expected, but full of peace, and happiness and loved very much. I was more able to let go in my heart and start the healing process at that point.
Tuesday was the day from hell.
It started off well enough with me rushing out the door with Christopher to go to the Tellus Museum and Chaperone my very first field trip. I woke up with a headache though, and the headache eventually turned into a migrain. By the time i got home I was on the verge of throwing up and miserable...but the weather was incredible and I was feeling a bit better about Mauser being gone, so I decided to take some meds and enjoy the weather. Brian worked in the yard and replaced the pinestraw and we put rocks around the tree in the front and he mowed all the nasty crap out of the grass so we could actually see the sod again....it started to get warmer and warmer and Clover started acting odd, so I brought him in. He was doing a wierd licking thing in his mouth and acting a bit strangled. I checked him over and brushed it off as teething and heat. So I tok him upstairs and got him in the cool bed with the curtains pulled down and the fan on. I fell asleep with him for a few. After 45 minutes he woke up throwing up. The second vomit I was on the phone with the vets. I rushed him in and by the time I got there he had thrown up 5 more times. I started freaking out. He was sick, and in pain, and couldnt quit throwing up. In the office his vomit started having streaks of blood in it too. Xrays produced no answers, just a lot of black swollen intestines from gas, and an angry stomach lining. We were sent home a good bit of money less and terrified for the night ahead. The vets gave him this huge bubble of water under his skin on his side and some meds for his belly and throat and GI Tract. I was told if he threw up over night more than 2 more times, or started bleeding from the mouth and nose or screaming in pain to get him to the ER for exploratory surgery....which I could not afford. I instantly fell back on prayer. I begged God to save my puppy. I asked all the friends and family I could muster to pray for my baby pup. I prayed and prayed and prayed. I made a pallet on the floor and layed with him all night...all night while he vomitted...and never took him to the ER....I just couldnt. Molly (Pres of SCGSDR) talked to me on the phone and told me to take him OFF the Orijen and to get him on rice and chicken for a while. Mixed with some Yogurt. She said just to give it overnight and see what happens.
6:50am was the last time he threw up....he started to get better after that! A whole night went by and I never slept....I was a mess. I started feeding him small amounts of food I had made in the crockpot. He ate the first 1/2 cup and slept, for the first time all night he slept. His sleeping was just enough of a break to have laci throw up all over me...she had 102* fever....ugh!
I spent the rest of the day tending to Laci and trying to keep her fever down and get Clover better. By the end of the day he was 80% better and eating more and more...and finally pooped wich let me know there was no obstuction. We think he somehow found something toxic and it wasnt a leathal amount than God.
Wednesday passed on a blur, almost feeling like a bad dream....but without the satisfaction of a night's sleep to go with it.
Thursaday Laci was still sick. I took her to the doctors. She had strep throat. I took her to get her meds and treated myself to some sesame chicken from Mui Lan...my fav! I got Laci home and let her rest and continued to nurse Clover back to health...by Thursday night he was 100% better! Unfortunately thats about the time that my throat started hurting. I started myself on Amoxil that I had here and was better by Saturday!
Saturday I had a big day. I got up and started steam cleaning, and then met Sue at Cobb animal control to get my new foster dog, Spirit. She is so sweet and happy and beautiful. But she is not dog friendly and will not be Clover's buddy like Mauser was. She also is not a huge cat fan, but I think its more prey drive and less aggression with cats. Saturday afternoon me and Brian and the kids and Christopher's friend Ansley and her family all went to the theater to see "How to Train Your Dragon" (2D version) and the kids did GREAT! Laci sat through 95% of the movie before having to pee, and christopher had to run to the bathroom once thinking he was going to throw up, lol. Other than that we had a great time and all was good again.
Yesterday was more steam cleaning, dog rotating, and playing and grocery shopping.
this morning I started my new routine of getting UP in the morning. My life has been WAY off time wise and I have to get it back together. I want to stay caught up on here, I want to stay OFF facebook more, and I want to get my sleep schedual back on track. We are ALL going to getting up in the morning and sharing the workload on the homefront. We are going to start spending time as a family more and less time doing our own thing alone at different sides of the house. Spring is here, the world is alive and beautiful again and its time to wake up. :)
Hope everyone else has a beautiful day too.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Top O' The Mornin' to Ya!
Its been another wild and crazy week. Not a lot of big stuff went on but just a lot of small stuff. Currently everyone is sick with allergies. The world is starting to wake up and our sinus cavities are paying the price for it!
Mauser is at the Vet's this morning getting neutered. His days with us are short now. He met his new family this last week and his new friend Victor and they are in love with him and he did great with them! I am so very sad to see him go, but I know its for the best and he will have a long happy life in their home. My work with him is nearly through...and soon I have a new foster puppy coming. Her name is Sadie and she is about a month older than Clover and seems to have a reputation of being a bratty holy terror already, so this should be ummmmm interesting to say the least! LOL!
Laci's birthday is fast approaching. I am still confused how she is already turning 3! I am ready for the party and just need to get last minute supplies and food and her gift from us. We decided on the smaller doll house for a few reasons, and I am sure she will love it. :) I changed her room and added a lot of new things to her walls and her room is so pretty now! :) Well, prettier anyhow.
Christopher was home from school yesterday but is back today trying to make it through. His allergies are the worst and he had a fever yesterday and the night before last. He wanted to wear his tophat this morning. :)
I am tired and behind on everything from homework with Christopher, to laundry, to cleaning, to time with my husband. I have to catch up in life!!! Maybe this weekend I can finally get there! For today I will start with this blog, some laundry, and homework this evening after the corned beef and cabbage.
Hope you all have a great day!

Worst Blogger Ever!
My Gosh! What is wrong with me? How have I gotten into the habit of posting once a week? This is insane!
Ok a re-cap of the last week...
I got Laci's birthday invites and got them sent out. They are SO CUTE!!! I am really excited with the party and praying for nice warm sunny dry weather! I have only a week and a half left to get everything done for it so I need to get to gettin' on it since there is so much to do still! Everyone pray for nice weather for the 2 days before and day of the party!!! Brian decided that a doll house would make a better gift to her since she isnt quite big enough to peddle a bike and has a great time on her tricycle still. So I have to get that this weekend.
On the second of March, school was cancelled at 10:30am for snow and delayed by 2 hours for snow on the next morning. We went to chuck E Cheese with the kids and my friends Jennifer and Dougie (who I havent seen since high school) and their children. We had a good time and made the best of the last cold dreary snowy day of winter here in GA. It was a nice send off.
On the 3rd, Joey finally got his driver's license! I was very proud of him and I know he is glad to finally be an official driver!
On the 7th (sunday) Me, Brian and the kids as well as Tiffany and her family went to the zoo since the weather was awesome! We all had a great time and we only stayed for about 3.5 hours and came home to work in the yard. Steve came by and measured the yard for the fence and the fence goes in on April 10th!! YAY!
On Monday the 8th, Me and Laci met Jennifer and her son Jonathan at Swift Cantell park in Kennesaw. It is a REALLY nice park and one I am sure we will see a lot more of now that I know where it is! I was very impressed. Then we went home and got the dogs and Brian and picked Christopher up from school and then we went to Field's Landing. The dogs had a great time and Mauser even ran and jumped in the lake and swam!! LOL! It freaked brian out and he was afraid he would have to jump in after him. I wished we had brought stuff to grill bc it was so nice I didnt want to come home to feed us!
Yesterday started the rain...we hae had rain and storms for 2 days now and it will rain from now until Saturday morning. It sucks. I have a headache and I am already way over it again! The best thing though is that by monday we will see 65* and sun again! Come on dry weather for next weekend!!!! PLEASE dry weather!!
Yesterday was running errands and I have to do more today. We made the Leprechaun trap for Christopher's project and I had to go to the feed store....but I have to go back today because his food is expired! WAHH! :(
Well, I better get crackin' on stuff so I can rest my head! ugh Its gonna be a long day!

HAPPY MARCH!!!
Top o' the morning to ya!
Its MARCH!!! Finally Spring is getting closer!! I was going to do a better job the last week of February on keeping up on here, but 15 minutes after my last post I was needing 4 stitches in mouth!!! Me and Clover were playing rough and I had him all psyched up and nutzo and went in face to face and he jumped up to snout me or bite me, who knows, and his big canine went in the top of my top lip and out the bottom and as he fell back ripped through it. I was pouring blood and had to get to the doctor! Brian came home and took me to the doc and Laci was wonderful for the 2 hours it took. My doctor decided to redo the stitches 3 times and I had to be numbed up twice!!! It was crazy painful and Brian said watching all that just ensured the fact that he will never go for stitches again! LOL!!! I was given some pain meds as my face felt like I had been stung by 100 wasps all at the same time and I spent the next 24 hours in bed on and off on meds and the next 5 days on antibiotics. The lip looks great though and I was really pleased with his work!
Then...the day after that fiasco, I went to get my first rescue foster puppy! He is a sable 6 month old male who we have named "Mauser". He is extreamly scared of people but we are working hard on getting him to come out of his shell. He was beaten on a regular basis and living in an 8x8 mudhole with his mother in the elements. I got him from a girl in Newnan who was housing him until someone could take him.
He is now registered with the Southern Cross GSD Rescue and we had a meeting this Saturday and he got to socialize some and get his shots and now I have to set him up for his neuter. I need to get some good pics too so I can get him on Petfinder ASAP and hope he can find a forever home soon!
The weekend was a blur! Brian worked Saturday and I took Mauser and the kids to cumming to go the the rescue group meeting, and then came home and got the cages and dogs cleaned, and then my mom babysat the kids Saturday night. Me and Brian went out to dinner at Bugaboo Steakhouse, but I think I had a touch of food poisoning and was unable to eat dinner, and we were home and I was alseep in bed by 9:30pm! LOL!
Sunday my mom kept the kids all morning and me and Brian went to Kmart and got a beautiful patio umbrella for the summer and looked at some other stuff. We went to get the kids, hung out for a while, talked about the fence going in the yard and then dropped my mom and Steve off at a place here in Canton.
We came home, put the umbrella together, played with the dogs, cleaned the back yard up, pulled up the old extension stones on the patio, made dinner, got kids baths done, and passed OUT!!!
Today I am running a million miles an hour! In between all of this I have already given baths to dogs this morning, uploaded pics of mauser, walked puppies, and vacuumed the house! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Have a great start to March!!!
