Where have we been???

Oh yeah, here, with strep throat!

Yes apparently strep throat is running amuck in the southern states and decided to make a special trip down osmanthus way! Let me tell you this...I know remember why kids are freaking MISERABLE when they have this!! Strep throat freaking KILLS! owwwwwwwwwwwwww!! But finally we went to the doctors (brian has been fine, and laci was cleared yesterday...turns out she has 4 molars coming through at the same time and its coincidental, guess she just wanted to sympathize with us!) Me and Chistopher have full blown strep and he is on his antibiotics 3 times a day and i am on straight penicilin twice a day. LOL, yes the bottle says "penicilin" and I feel like I got the Clap or something with a prescription bottle like that! Anyhow day 2 of meds and christopher is up playing and feeling a lot better...til the afternoon when he crashes and burns. I still feel like absolute dog poo...but I know I must be getting better by the crap coming out of me! bleh! TMI, I am fully aware...sorry bout that.

Anywho, On to a WAY more fun topic...FLORIDA!!!! I am getting into the antsy stage now and I knew I would by the end of may early june. I have been thinking about it since I woke up this morning. Man, it is gonna be so cool to be on the beach with my kids, Laci for her first time. Build a sandcastle with christopher, for his first time...and to celebrate my 2nd anniversary with brian with the top tier of our wedding cake and champagne on the balcony! (we are making a ritual of going to daytona the week of our anniversary every year and re-ordering the exact replica of our top tier of our wedding cake so we get the same thing every year!!) But I am so excited to be taking our real first "adult family vacation" this year. We ill be on no one's time but ours. We will visit and play and eat and swim on our clock. We will decide when enough is enough for the kids, and what to have for dinner for ourselves, and we will retire whenever we want to our room for the night, no questions asked! I dont think I have ever taken a vacation like that before! But anyways, we are stoked and working hard to re-make the money for the hotel that we had to spend on the computer...and so far we are up to almost 400.00! Thats great! Plus we have the paycheck her gets the morning we leave so I know we will be fine!
I give myself all of about 2 more weeks and I will be already starting my frantic and rediculously long packing lists! ha! We are somehow going to try and pack the car I think though because of gas. I am not sure yet, but we may need to. If gas reaches the estimated 6.00/gal by july the car is our only option! ugh!

Thursday it is...

Sitting here trying to think of something to do with my kids today. I am clueless so far. I think I may take them to a store or something to get them out of the house. I could take them to a park, but Laci is taking her sweet time walking (she is 14 months today) so I am not fond of the idea of her crawling around a playground. I would take them to the pool, but its too cold still, and Laci wouldnt get in it I am sure, and I have yet to buy a bathing suit. (note to self, try old suit on today) So I am left with a short coming of ideas. I could always go to chuck e cheese and opt to not buy pizza and drinks and just spend some of the many tokens I have, but I am thinking of doing that tomorrow night when Brian gets off work and then leaving for the gym from there. I dunno. Anyhow I know we need to clean the yard a LOT and I need to finish laundry and vacuum downstairs. I know I need to wash the blankets in the house and hang them to dry and I know it wouldnt kill me to pack a few things...so more likely than not I will be staying home today and getting crap done. I may set up a pool in the yard for the kids to play in though. hmmmm Target? Anyways we are expecting the first full sun weekend this weekend and I am really hoping that we will get some more showings. Now that brian has been cleared from his cancer scare I am not scared to sell the house and memories it holds because I know we have time to make new ones in a new house now! :) *happy dance* It is memorial day weekend but as usual, Brians stupid job is determined not to give days off and he will be working, so it will be just another Monday for me next week...wooptie doo! :P
Anyhow I guess it wouldnt kill me to put on some clothes and a bra and call it a day, so I hope you all enjoy your day!

Holy Tornadoes Batman!!

yes, living in the georgia equivilent to tornado alley has once again proved disaterous. We had one touch down a whopping 1.5 miles from my house and by the hail you can tell! we have spilt trees, all my beutiful plants are ruined, my welcome statue is broken after being knowcked over, my neighbors tree was hit by lightening, and the yards are overall just a mess!
Luckily I am ok...and so are my friends. Sadly I was not called by one person to se if I was ok or not...either people dont care, dont have TV, or assume if I was hurt I would still call THEM to tell them about it. Oh well.
Anyhow I have to run for now...I will be back soon!

HE IS OKAY!!

Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for brian...after 2 terrifying weeks we finally got the call this afternoon saying my husband is perfect!!!! I just hugged him and sobbed again in relief and happiness when he told me the news! I am so very lucky to have such an amazingly wonderful husband! I love him more than words could ever explain! And now I get to know that he is in great health and we have many years left together! I am so thankful for my Brian...he is my very best friend in the whole world, I would be lost without him...he does complete me, and I love him so much!!! I am off to watch some tv with my hubby and then get the first good nights sleep in days!!!
