Not really anything to render an exclaimation point, but I figured, why not? LOL!
I have a headache, the weather blows again. And I am missing the 67* and blue skies we had Sunday. It seems like ages ago! We went to the Zoo on Sunday and had a FANTASTIC time! The weather could not have been more beautiful! The wind was light and cool, the skies were solid blue and the sun was warm. The kids had a great time looking at all the animals, we packed a lunch and sat down for peanut butter and jelly, chili cheese fritos and grapes. It amazed us to see one family after another come out of the cafe door with huge trays of food...we have done that in our not so seasoned parent days...and each tray is at LEAST 50.00! Whereas we ate for free! And, my kids ate til they were full...and LIKED what they were eating! I watched plate after plate of half eaten pizza, or hot dogs, or chicken fingers go into the garbage. Crazy stuff! We all had a great time though, and both the kids managed to stay awake on the way home. We got home and I grilled hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill, and made some tuna mac salad and we ate outside in the warm afternoon sun. Even Clover was passed out in the grass loving life! It was a great day and made me crave spring so much more!! I cant wait for the noce weather every day! I know its on its way though...February is almost gone, March is coming and the weather always gets great in March!
I have to plan for sure where to have Laci's birthday party since I am ONE MONTH away from my baby girl turning THREE!!! I have to get the invites ordered and need to settle on a location, pronto! Its a toss up between Field's Landing and JJ Biello park in Woodstock...hmmm....
Anyhow today is cool and rainy and I have groceries and laundry and cleaning and beds to change to get done in the next few hours! I need to get off my kiester and get it done!

This is a bad year for blogging!
I dont know why I cant get with the blogging program! I blame it on laziness and facebook! I get on and update statuses on FB and then neglect my beautiful 3 year running family blog! Its terrible and something I really would like to learn to fix again. I miss my blog. I dont care if no one reads it, I know its here and I love it! I have worked very hard on it for years now and I need to get with the program already! ugh!
Ok so lets start with last week, shall we?
Friday night was great! My friend Heather had a Pure Romance party and I had a great time. It was nice to catch up with some old friends and I laughed a lot. I didnt get home til almost 1am! I was very tired the next day but it was so worth it! Valentines day was pretty unproductive since we dont really *do* Vday here at our house. Brian bought me a card and it was super sweet, but I still havent even filled his out. (hangs head in shame...I know, I suck) Cards are my kryptonite.I can never get a card to someone on time. Its an impossible goal for me. I could probably learn to speak fluent Swahili before I could learn to send or give a card to someone on time! Its rediculous!
On Tuesday, our money came in. It was much needed for everything from bills to appliances. We went with a new dishwasher, TV and entertainment center in the livingroom, and odds and ends we have needed around the house...like my beautiful pictures I bought a year ago in Daytona are FINALLY in frames and ready to be hung! We miscalculated our budget a bit, and now we are running low with quite a few things left to do. But we still plan on 3 things, the fence in the back yard, the camcorder (so I can post vidoes online!) and our trip to Daytona next month!! I am going to be getting lumber this week and hope to start working on the fence next weekend! I really want it done soon! I also need to book a hotel room in Daytona, and pick a camcoder out! Whew!
Thursday I took the kids to Fernbank. They both had a BLAST!!! I knew they would love it. They both were very well behaved and Laci loved all the animals, and Christopher loved showing his sister how to see stuff and teach her things that he knew from our visits before. They both did great with the IMAX film we watched called "Wild Ocean" and we had a great time.
Friday I had to get Clover to the Vet for another check-up. He is 27 pounds now and considered underweight and skinny per the Vet. I have been concerned about his eating for a few days now so we have upped his food to 2 cups Innova kibble and 1/2 can wet EVO 2 times a day. He already looks better just 2 days now but he started the squishy poo this morning. I have to get him some canned pumpkin at the store to help his belly. He has a 10 pound weight gain goal by his visit next month. I hope we can do it!
Yesterday we had Matthew's 10th birthday party at a skateboard place here in Canton which was fun, then last night was the big girl's dinner out which yielded a whopping 5 people...including me! WTF? That is *it*!!! I am done planning crap. Everytime I do no one shows up it seems! I was very let down, but still had an AWESOME time with the 4 girls who came. I really feel like my resolution of getting more friends in my life if starting to fill out and I couldnt be happier! I came home early and was in bed nice and early.
This morning started off rough, I have been up since 5am. Clover was going nuts in his crate, and I only had to open the bedroom door to know why. He had pooped in his crate bc we didnt take him out last night and was a poo-y mess!!! I got up, Brian got up, and then I got him a bath while brian cleaned the cage. Brian went back to sleep, Clover went back to sleep, and I have drank a whole pot of coffee and will be very sleepy tonight. Today is going to be 65*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to the ZOO!!! YAY!! I am happy and excited! I got a sit and stand stroller off of craigslist for the kids and will be trying it out today! :)

11 days...
I am really wishing I had something amazing to report on to even make this post post-worthy...but I dont! LOL! Nothing here but a bunch of day in and day out blahness! Lets see....
Clover is doing great, he has an appointment on the 26th for more shots. He is oh about 5% house broken but 90% crate trained...so its ok. My friend Francis had her baby on groundhog's day. Little Garik was 8pounds 3 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Since he was born on Groundhog's day, I have decided to call him Beau. I think mom and dad are ok with it, and I think its a great nickname! He is so cute! She did a good job cooking that one! I have worked at Christopher's school a few more days and thats always fun! I love the kids and wish I could get a job working in a class on a regular basis...of course with pay would be a nice bonus! ;) Yesterday I hung out with my mom for a bit and it was fun. I always love having her around and we laugh a lot when we are together. Brian came to her house and got Laci and Clover so I could actually go out alone for a few hours with her. I got some of Laci's summer shopping done and now I just have to make a date with Christopher this weekend to get him done. We are waiting on the tax return to come back and then we are getting a family pass for the year to a few places, one of which is Fernbank which I will be using next week while Christopher is out of school for the whole week. I plan on being out of the house every day at least for a few hours next week!
This weekend is Valentine's day, but I hate Valentines day and Brian respects that, so we will just be here at the house doing our thing here with the kids. Maybe next weekend we will go on a date when the world doesnt expect it. This saturday I have a passion party to attend at my friend Heather's house for a few hours and that will be fun, except I dont think I know anyone there! ha!
Today I am going to get some cleaning and laundry done. Hope you all stay warm! Lots of love!

Goodbye January!
I am going to try and get better on track on here. Even though my life will get even busier, I need to take time to get this stuff recorded!
We got Clover!!! He is awesome! My mom and I went up to Alto, GA to get him last Tuesday. I fell instantly in love with him when I seen his beautiful face, and judging by his massive mom and dad he will one day be HUGE! He is a sweet boy and super smart. He is 9 weeks and 3 days old now and is already becoming my best friend. He has a few puppy issues we are working on as all pups do, but he is smart as a whip and with his face its hard to even get mad at him! We started breaking him of sleeping in the bed last night and he did way better than I had expected. He is already 20 pounds after being check at the Vet on Friday. He is 2 rounds of shots away from being safe to travel anywhere I go and I am really excited to finally get him out in the world and show him off!!
Yesterday I had my Pure Romance party. It started off badly before the party because I had so many people cancel or not respond at all, but in the end there was 10 of us here and it was a blast!!! I got to see 4 girls I havent seen since high school and it was so fun!! They all look great and I am really hoping to get them back in my life more than just yesterday! I was super excited to see them! The party went great and everyone seemed to have a good time. (well, except Clover who was unhappy to be tethered next to me the whole time on the floor.)
I am going to be re-RE-buckling down this next month and trying to get another 8 pounds off. Thats a small goal if I really work hard. I slipped up bad yesterday stuffing my face with pizza, mini eclairs and red Spumante, but I am going to be buckling back down now. Now if this awful wet nasty cold weather would change to early spring that would be awesome! Come on Beau!!! Go out and play!!! Mama wants some SUN!!!!
I am working more in Christopher's class now during the week. I am loving it. So much in fact that I am seriously starting to consider changing to being a teacher instead of a nurse when I finally go back to school in a few years. His teacher said she can see it in me and thinks I would make and awesome teacher which really means a lot to me.
I have decided to go back to half a pill of my medication through the rest of the cold season just to be on the safe side. I cant get out much for exercise since its in the 30s and raining almost every day, so I want to play it safe until warmer weather gets here.
Today I am going to be working on just relaxing and planning the weeks meals out and getting ready for Monday. Everyone gets a bath today including Clover and I plan on resting some and getting my energy back. I am pretty sleepy and needing a good recharge so I can get on track again and get the house back under control after our new addition. :)
Hope everyone has a warmer dryer day than us!

Finally a real update!
Been so busy!!! January has been full of everything! Playdates, the stomach flu, baby showers, and still I have a passion party this weekend coming up and then next month will be even MORE busy!!! Life is good! (Even when the stomach flu makes you think you are half dead!)
I have lost a little over 25 pounds now and I am still working towards my goal! Christopher is doing great in school! Laci is becoming a little girl now and growing quickly out of her baby/toddler stage! Life is good!
Today is Christopher's 100 days party at school. We made cupcakes for his class today. I know he is always excited when he gets to be the one whose mommy made cupcakes because I remember when I was little how awesome I felt knowing it was ME who supplied the class with cake! :)
I have a very special surpise coming on Valentine's day. I am not coming right out and saying what it is....but it isnt hard to figure it out! LOL! I cannot wait!!!!!
This week we have a playdate tomorrow and today me and Laci are going to get out of the house since it has been nasty all weekend.
I have already started planning Laci's THIRD birthday because its only a few weeks away now! I cannot believe that my baby girl is turning THREE already! Craziness!
Her birthday will be Ladybug themed! :) I am already all over this and LOVING the theme! I wanted to go with something other than the "princess" or "barbie" and I was so excited to come up with this one! Her gift will be her very first BIKE! A bike! For cripes sake my baby is riding a BIKE!!!
I have so much going on in my life anymore it seems easier sometimes to do a quick status update on facebook instead of really getting on here and catching up. But I have to stop and take a minute to get on here because one day this will be a small book of our first years together as a family and that is so very important to me.

HAPPY.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!!!!
I so wish I was there to spend this day with you, but I am always there in heart! I miss you so much, and try to tell you all year how much you mean to me, but on your birthday I want you to be sure you know that I love you to the moon and back. You have always been my friend before anything else. You are an amazing mom, grandma, and wife....but you are a friend to all...and that kind of heart is an inspiration to me every day! I love you so much! I love your smile, and your laugh and your funny things you say. I miss you so much. Life has always been a little less sunny living so far away from you, and I am glad that some of your grandkids got to experience living so close to you their whole lives. Its a prize I wish I had gotten to win too. I know there is a ton of people who love you so much, but in the crowd there will always be me as well. I will love you forever and I will always be here for you through thick and thin and will never turn my back on you or make you feel unloved. Thanks for being my grandma!
I love you bunches! Wish I could splurge on a piece of cake with you today...and a daqueri tonight! Ha!!!
