Good exhausted morning Monday!

Well, as you can tell this has been an exhausting weekend! After the fiasco that thankfully ended in our baby boy Blue staying with us on this world for a while longer we realized that 600.00 was just too much to be able to come to florida for the whole week as I have been dreaming about for so long. I pretty much was in a very depressed state all day. BUT....Brians grandmother and grandfather gave us a very generous and most amazing gift for our birthdays, and because of that gift, we are heading down this week for the full week again!!!! **whew**
So then yesterday christopher wakes up with diarrhea and puking. Oh My God!!! So I said, welp, if he doesnt get better or if we all get this, we are putting the vacation off til we are all better b/c I am not spending my tmie puking or taking care of puking kids! Well we think it was a lot of blueberries he ate the day before, b/c by the end of the day he was fine...and starving! And now feels good!!

So....its official!!! 3 more days til we are leaving for FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if you excuse me...I have to run errands and run around like a chicken with my head cut off to get everything ready on time!!! eeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!!!!!!!

My Saturday (this needs its own post)

so saturday morning we went out back and my cat "blue" came up the back hill after playing like always in the morning but right away i noticed something was wrong. before he reached the top i said "oh my god he's been hit by a car!!"i started to freak out, we brought him in and i was sure he was going to die in the livingroom....i went upstair to look up a vet number and the poor guy got up and tried to follow me, so i took him upstairs and he laid on the bed. he was scraped up, had a gash on one thigh and his back leg was stiff and his spine curved badly to one side. he was a mess. his pupils dialated and his ears were cold. (never a good sign with him). he then tried to come off the bed so i let him on the floor and he went under the bed. he just laid there while i called one vet after another. i shone a flashlight on him twice b/c i thought he was dead.christopher was crying. i sat him on my lap after choosing a vet and explained that blue was going to go to the doctor, was hit by a car, and he may not be coming home again. i had to be honest. he was very upset.me and brian took him to the vet. after the painful exam where he was such a good boy the vet said it appeared he was hit...and dragged by his injuries. then said it didnt look very good.they sedated him and took him for x-rays. the girl came back, turns out it is a fractured pelvis and a severely dislocated hip. the doc tried all she could to get his hip back in, and then came to discuss other outlets...surgery on monday...euthanasia...i cried so hard through all of it when i had a moment with the doc not in the room.then she came in to see if we made up our minds...as we were discussing possible euthanasia (the surgery was well into 1000+.00) the tech came in and said "ummm i need you to come look at this, so and so tried to get the hip in and it made a wierd double pop and we are running more x-rays" the doc left to let us wait for x-rays.20 mins later we hear "YAHOOOO" come from the back. i squeezed brians hand, "please God let that be for us...come on blue be ok...be ok!!!"the tech came in..."did you hear me?" she asked smiling.she through up a new picture on the xray board and the hip is in!!!so 576.63 later and a very woozy kitty...and my very best buddy is on the mend!!healing thoughts for blue please!!

ONE MORE WEEK!!

We are in the one week wait now! Yesterday I had a vicious migrain all day so I didnt have the ability to do much on here. I feel a lot better today but I still have a slight headache this morning. Ugh! I am happy today is thursday...I am surprised how easy this week has been to kill for the most part. Today its suppossed to rain a lot so I doubt we will be going or doing anything really. But I may go kill some time with Tiffany next door and maybe take the kids to teh store or something. I dunno.

Anyhow Tuesday is new parent orientaion for Chrsitopher's Pre-K place and I am so nervous and excited its crazy! I still cant believe this is the last month before he is school bound from now on! Wow...time flies. *sigh*

So anyways, not a lot to report on the Pruitt home today. We are all very excited about the vacation and counting down til we can leave! Other than that its just same stuff different day really.

Single Digits!!!!

I am so terribly excited!!!

Here it is! 9 tiny days til we are in florida!!! Finally!!! Singletons! woot! I have completely stopped all planning, list making, and preparing for our trip as well. I am so sure next week is going to drag by and make me crazy I have made the very difficult to manage task of not preparing at all this week! I know, I am nuts! So I am just killing time til then. Yesterday went fast. We went tot he pool in the morning, came home and got laci in bed for a nap, cleaned my house and then when she got up I hung out with Tiffany for a while and then took the kids to Toys R Us and met Brian there, then went to the mall and had dinner and walked around a bit. Then came home and got the kids in bed for the night and went to bed. Laci was up ALL night last night and I was in there with her...I am beyond tired today.

Today I think we may go back to the pool I am not sure, then I am taking the kids to Old Navy to look through their clearence racks as everything is on a big sale right now to make room for new stuff for fall. I am hoping to score a few pieces for Chrstopher and Laci and maybe another pair of soft cotton shorts and a tank or two for me.

This weekend I think me and Brian are going out on Friday night, while Tiffany and Eric watch the kids. Then we will watch their kids for them Saturday evening while they go to a football game. After that me and Tiffany are going to go to Wild West! Woot!

So I am off to pitter around here at the house and work on waking up. Hope you all have a beautiful day!

Good Morning Sunhine!!!

So here it is....the LAST double digit day of my countdown!! Ten more days and I will be heading down to florida!!!!! YAY!!!

So first I want to say thank you for the comments on here, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Chrissy, and Amanda. And the "two Chimps off the old block" made me laugh out loud at the desk grandma!, but the phone call message was so sweet you made me and brian both teary eyed. So Thank you for loving Brian so much everyone, and for making me smile in the meanwhile! :)

Second, the party! I took no pictures because I am a moron, and you all know that. So there is no photo record of me slaving away for 4 hours in the kitchen yesterday getting everything ready! But the food was wonderful! My mac and cheese is to die for, my coconut cake was a HUGE beautiful success, and the hot dogs and brats were an easy meal to fix everyone. The jello shots were delicious...and potant...and the fun was flowing! We had a very nice time. We were not surprised that Brians sister didnt show up because that is par for the course with his family. For brian's sake I made it a point to NOT invite the rest of them (grandparents excluded) because I didnt want to see his face when ...AGAIN.. his family wouldnt be attending something of ours. That will now be par for the course on our behalf. It worked out well. My mom and Steve and the boys came, Kevin and his girl friend Cindy came with their daughter Abbi, Eric and Tiffany came with the boys and bella, and we were there. Laci decided kids were more important than a nap so she never napped, and the kids all did really well! Brian got a few nice things. And he got to enjoy a drink or two as well! I was so tired by the end of the night I was asleep in no time!

Today is Brians actual birthday. We are meeting after work at the mall with the kids and having dinner there. Its nothing massive, but its dinner out and in an environment that the two kids will be better in. Plus I have to pick something up from the mall. My baby is 28 years old today! I told him in 2 years I will have to trade him in for a newer model! ha! He said he felt bad, that he wanted to do something for my birthday...I said, "honey, you are giving me a week in Daytona for my birthday...thats the best gift in the whole world!!!" I think he feels better now. :)

So Last but oh so not least...
The vacation!!!
We are going to make a countdown daisy chain today for christopher. I am freaking out that we are down to 10 days! WOW!!! We feel like we have so much to do still. But I will be a mad list maker as usual and we are starting to plan and buy food items too now! YAY! That is one more step to leaving! Tomorrow we are in the single digits and I couldnt be any more excited!!!
