I need to quit doing this...

I keep letting days go by with no update because life gets in the way!

Ok, so lets see if I can remember all thats gone on...

Thursday...
I am pretty sure we sat around for most of the day and did nothing...until I found a woman online who had a litter of 3 day old kittens whose mother had rejected them and me and felicia thought we could get her mother cat who recently lost most of her litter to nurse them. Well the lady made it seem like the mom had just started rejecting them...turns out she let the mom cat go from birth with not feeding them before doing something about it and then by the time we got them one died from starving to death...and by 11:45 the other 3 had died as well. We were very upset and it was very hard for us to see such small babies given such a horrible short life.

Friday...
Brian took the day off and we got our new baby kitten "Kane". He is a pure white little boy and only about 6 weeks old! He is so cute I cant stand it!! We also got some stuff done around the house and we got a gift for Bella's first birthday party. Friday night we took the kids to eat at CiCi's pizza and we had an early night.

Saturday...
By far the busiest day of the week! We started off by getting up and cleaning. Then we got the kids ready and went to Christopher's soccer game. Felicia and her son Christopher met us there and My Christopher did so good! He even made his first Goal!! He is so cute out there and the coaches say that he is a natural. After the game we fed the horses (where I was attacked by an ant bed and I have the many bites on my feet and legs to prove it) and then we went home. We then went nextdoor for Bella's birthday which turned out great since the rain held off! Then me and Felicia went to Old Navy and Walmart to do the weekly grocery shopping. After that we came back and we all started taking our showers. Kevin and Cindy and their daughter Abbi came over and the all of us went to the Monster Truck Nationals at Dixie Speedway while my mom and Steve babysat Laci for me. We had a great time and the two boys had a blast! They even got their monster truck boxes signed by Grave Digger! He had a lot of free time since he rolled his truck over and over during qualifying laps and was out for the night early. After that we all went home, and Felicia and Christopher spent the night.

Today...
This morning me and Felicia went to get dunkin donuts for us all for breakfast. After we ate we hung around the house til it was time for Christopher to go to his soccer game. Felicia and her son went home while I stayed home and layed Laci down for a nap. Sadly christopher's game got rained out and he was pretty bummed about that. The rest of the day we just hung around the house and played with the kids and then they both were in bed by 8:30.

Tomorrow I am going to Marietta at night to sign up at my old gym!!! I have put a lot of thought into it and me and brian are both thinking its a good idea for me to have that!

Hello Wednesday!

Where is the watermelon??? That was my first thought this morning as I was laying in bed wishing watermelon season would get here so I could enjoy my endless bowls of sweet goodness! But other than my desire for mounds of melons, I am happy it is wednesday. It has been beautiful lately and we have been spending a lot of time outside. Monday we had another showing but it didnt go well I fear because the people were here all of about 10 minutes. Oh Well...honestly, with everything we have going on, how great my relationship with my neighbor is again, and how well topher is doing here I am actually not in a huge rush to move. I know it will be a pain come august when I have to drive all the way to kennesaw to drop of Topher at Pre-K, but other than that I am in no hurry.
Anyhow today we get our new couch! I am so excited!!! It is so pretty! This weekend is going to be so busy so I am going to enjoy a whole lot of nothingness for the next 2 days! ha!
Welp, not much else going on today. Just relaxing and playing, and moving along.

A very busy few days now...

Its been so busy the last few days that I havent had the chance to get on here and really update anything. Lets see if I can remember everything that went on.

Friday:
Basically I just sat at home with the kids, we worked in the yard some and had lunch with brian. Me and Chistopher went to Party City to decide once and for all on a theme. He chose "Cars" and we stocked up on party supplies. I am excited for his birthday, I know it will be a blast!

Saturday:
In the morning me and christopher went to some yard sales in the big bridgemill community bi-annual sale. We ended up getting two cool diecast cars for him and these two climbers for laci by little tikes. Then he went to the YMCA with me and played his first soccer game!! He is number 11 and is on the "Tigers". He was so amazing out there and i was nearly bursting with pride!! My face hurt after the hour from smiling so much!! People thought he had played before because he was so good! He was a natural!!! :) Then we fed some horses and the goats with Cpl. Reece (Ronnie) and then we went to have lunch with my mom at subway. After that we went to Felicias house in Cartersville. We got some bad news though. It seems one of felicias moms dogs hates cats and somehow got into where the kittens were. She killed 3 (including mine that I was getting) before they could get to them. They have one remaining and they are keeping her. I am very sad about that. But we had a nice time anyhow, and we enjoyed the time we spent together. The boys (Thing One and Thing Two *they are both named Christopher*) had a great time playing out in the beautiful day together. We even got in the car and chased down the Ice Cream Man!

Sunday:
Today has been more yard work, some relaxing, and some errands. Felicia and Christopher came for dinner and I burned the chicken because I forgot it was on the grill! LOL. Luckily we had plan B which was hot dogs and brats and corn on the cob!

Now:
Laci, Topher, and Brian are all asleep. I am heading there soon. I just found out though, oddly enough, that since I happened to sign on Myspace this evening I seen, along with every other person Lorie knows, that my cousin proposed to her. I cant say I am not severely dissapointed in how I found out, but, as I have learned living here in Ga, thats par for the course. We get forgotten even though I try to never forget my family in Florida...even for my kids bday invites. But I am happy for them, and I know Lorie will be a beautiful bride...I will watch the bulletins on Myspace to see when the wedding is, as I havent a clue...

First Real Steps!

Laci took 3 of her first real steps today!! I say real steps because she let go and chose to walk to me from the couch instead of being tricked into stubling a step or two from one of us to the other!! (that moment was 2 weeks ago but nothing since) Anyhow I am off to bed but wanted to share the great news!!

Wednesday

Well its wednesday. Not much happened yesterday because Laci is still getting better. Its for sure Fifths Disease and I am worried the rest of us will get it too. She is going through this phase where she doesnt want Brian at night and she is sleeping very lightly so it pretty much means I am bunking in with her every night, and honestly, I am tired!!!! I have been on auto pilot for 2 days now. I am so tired right now, so I am going to go get some coffee in a minute. I hope Laci is back at 100% soon, this is so exhuasting!!!

Last night we watched DEADLIEST CATCH!! Its my favorite show in the whole world and it was great!!! :) If you dont watch it, you should start!!! :P

So as I was saying, now Laci has gone to a real doctor, (by the way, we will NEVER use egelston childrens again) she has a possible ear infection, possible tonsilitis, and possible fifths disease, which sounds scary but is not. So some Zithromax and a few days of rest more and she should be back to her anti-social self in no time! HA!

We are working on becoming more stress free and family oriented as of today. Things have gotten a bit hairy since Laci came along and things need to get back to what they were when I knew I wanted this life forever. So we sat and talked alot yesterday and this morning and we are going to start doing a LOT of things differently. Hopefully things will work out and we all will become a little happier in this place we call home.

We have yet another home for sale in our culdesac now...so we are up to 4 including ours, and we are the highest priced. I fear that I am going to die in this house. I am so miserable here, but like I said...we are working on things.

The weather is cold and gloomy today, and its monday, and I have my monthly friend in town and I just wanna curl up and get sleep...but cant. So I made a pot of home made meatballs and we will have spaghetti and meatballs tonight for dinner. That will be good.

This weekend coming up we have a race to go to at Dixie, I think it will be a sad event. But we will go and I am looking foward to seeing everyone there...and looking foward to a few chicken fingers! LOL.

I moved my computer back to our bedroom and that will force me to get off the thing for most of the day. Which is a good thing. I need to come back to reality and make it happy here so I dont want to get lost in Cyber Space.

Dinner with brian at ppadeauxs was so good!! I am in LOVE with the restaraunt! I had a delicious meal and was quite pleased. The place is expensive though...with drinks and dinner (one drink a piece and no dessert) we spent more than 50.00!! So needless to say, that wont happen there again for a while! EEK!

The panic attacks scared me so bad, and I am doing research on them to try and control the situation and be sure it doesnt happen again. I dont really wanna talk about them because, honestly, I am embarassed and ashamed.

Well, I guess its time for me to say buh bye for now!

Snowy Monday?!?!

Yep, we are expecting snow today. The entire state was franticly covering flowers and plants and veggies last night with the impending frost we are expecting and snow today. I swear this is the most messed up winter we have had in years!!

Anyhow, friday was nice, at first, Me and Brian went out to eat dinner at Pappadeauxs in Atlanta, but on the way home got a call from the neighbor that Laci wus up and had a 102.6 fever. So we started to rush home and on the way home I had not one, but three panic attacks for the first time in my life back to back. I didnt know what it was but now found out. Anyhow I seriously thought I was stroking out or something and it was really bad. Laci ended up being up the whole night...literally...and was only wanting me. Saturday she was miserable, saturday night, the same, and sunday. Now she is getting to go see the doctor this morning.

She is up now, so I will have to get back to this post later.

Thirsty Thursday!

I am quite tired this morning, but it was worth it last night! I went out with Felicia and Tiffany to the Los Reyes mexican grille for dinner and drinks and had a frigging BLAST! We laughed from the moment we sat down til we got home and parted ways. My lungs hurt a bit from the smoke this morning, and my head hurts a tad, and my stomach is a bit torn up from fajitas and a pitcher or margaritas (tiffany was my DD), but I got up this morning and took a shower and now I am just relaxing and waiting for tonight to go out on a date with brian to dinner.

Yesterday Christopher had an accident. He was on his swingset and one of the kids slammed him in a baby swing into the wood railing and he received a gash on his head that I was tempted to take him in for stitches and/or staples, but in the end I decided against it. We cleaned his hair as best we could, put some ice on it and gave him some tylenol. Then brian came home to see him and treated him by taking him to work for the rest of the day. Today he says it hurts to touch but feels a lot better. Poor little guy.

Anyhow, like I said, tonight me and Brian are going on a date. Its a toss up between the Hard Rock in Atlanta and Pappadeuxs off Windy Hill. I am leaning towards Pappadeuxs because I am in the mood for some good seafood! :) I gotta pick Joey up today and he will spend the night, then in the morning we will all go out for IHOP, unless the boys want me to cook here instead!

Welp...

I am utterly exhausted. I worked in the yard all day yesterday. By the time I went to bed I was sore everywhere and my poor feet were screwed up from being in the yard barefoot some of the day. But, my hard work was worth it...with every thing that I do my yard looks more and more beautiful, and either I will enjoy my hardwork or someone else will think its so nice THEY will enjoy it! :P

Today I think I may take the kids to the mall or maybe party city to start looking for stuff for christopher's birthday party. I dont really know yet. I know I am not doing any yardwork! LOL

Tuesday

100 DAYS LEFT!

Yup, 100 days left and we will be in Daytona for our week long family vacation. And if that seems like a long time, fear not!, in January when I posted it for the first time, it was 209 days...so we have come a long way in a relatively short time!

My wierd OCC brain makes me want to start writing my lists and checking them thrice...but I wont. Not yet. I will need something to help me kill the time in July. ha!

Yesterday was unproductive, I was as close to zombie as you can get without yelling "braaaains" and biting people's limbs. Today I need to be a bit more on the ball. This morning I am going to Jesse's house to pick through a grabage bag full of new My Little Ponies for a really good price, and then I am going to Home Depot to get some stuff for the yard. I already know my lovely daughter will pitch a holy fit but I dont care, I gotta get this stuff done! I need 2 new azealea bushes for the front yard that brian killed last year "by accident" and a huge bag of cheap grass seed, and some more stuff and a few plants and maybe some hanging baskets.

Tuesdays are always blah here. I dont hate them like mondays, but they are irritating. Hence my need to fill it with errands and yardwork!

I feel good this morning. I dont hurt anywhere and I am in a good mood. I try to live my day with my heart on lock down...my heart gets me in trouble. My heart makes me wonder, and question, and hurt....today my heart is locked up...as I am trying to do as much as I can. My heart will be unlocked during my showers, at night, and always in my dreams...but life has to push foward, no matter how painful it may be.

zoo pics!

Monday....Monday....Monday

Bleh!

So we went to the zoo yesterday, and it was very cool as I had expected it to be. Laci, however was hating life from the moment we put her in her carseat to go there. She fussed, and whined, and cried almost the whole time we were there...not fun. Christopher really liked it though and seeing him excited over the animals was worth the noise coming from his sister. We got there early and got a good start before the crowds, but that also meant that it was cooler than we dressed for, and also the animals were still asleep or just waking up. We ended up staying til almost 2:00 though and it was a fun day anyhow. I can see this being a lot better in a few months or next year though as far as Laci goes.
I was so tired when we came home and I had suffered a pounding headache the entire day. We were going to try and get some yard work done but ended up saying screw it and relaxed the rest of the afternoon after we did the grocery shopping.
We also talked to our realtor, and we lowered the price of the home to 149,500. Its really only a 500.00 drop but it makes the home look more appealling price wise being a "4" instead of a "5". We are also going to be having an open house soon. We really want our realtor to buckle down on the selling of our house because we need to buy while its still a buyers market in order to get the most for our home. We are coming up on the 2 month mark of it being on the market and I am ready to see it move...fast. I would love to see us sell before our florida vacation...but I wont keep my breath held on that idea.
Anyhow, I will post pictures later, I have to get them up first, but wanted to update here while I had the chance. Laci was up pretty much all night long last night so I expect this monday to suck worse than usual!! :P

A rainy saturday in Canton...

So it rained...again....today, but it was ok, because me and Christopher went to watch a movie at the theater with Felicia and her son Christopher (thing one and thing two). We went to see "Horton Hears a Who"...very very good cute wholesome movie I would recommend to anyone. Then we went to her house for a while and I seen her parents for the first time in almost 10 years and I also seen her 3 day old Chihuahua babies and her few hours old kittens! So effin CUTE! And...in 7 weeks...I am getting one of EACH! Yup, you heard that right. Its my life, and my world, and I have always wanted a Chi and now I have the chance to get one for free and by golly I am gonna live for ME and get my baby puppy and baby kitty on May 24th!!

So me and Brian were going to go on a date to the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta tonight but Joey was at his thing for Yugioh late and time got away, so Brian is off to get us Chinese food to eat in bed and watch a movie and have a mini date night in the bedroom, and then this friday Joey will come spend the night for the first time in a long time and watch the kids so we can go out, and then in the morning we will go to IHOP for pancakes before bringing him home.

The day was rainy and yucky...again...but everything is blooming and growing and thats a good sign. We are getting to bed early tonight so we can get up in the morning and go to the ZOO!!! YAY!!! I am so stoked and I know the kids (well at least Topher) are so excited!!! I will be posting LOTS of pictures tomorrow afternoon too! :)

Just a friday

Not really feeling like posting a whole lot today. The weather sucks...again...and my head just isnt on right. I had a much needed dinner out last night with Felicia. We had a good time, we ate WAY too much food and drank WAY too much margaritas, and had to sit in her car for an hour trying to sober up enough to drive (something you all know I am *totally* against...but we werent thrashed so it wasnt like I needed *hours* to get undrunk...just unbuzzed. Anyhow, I came home and took a zanax because my brain was doing that awful channel surfing thing and if anyone has ever had that go on you know how much it sucks. Laci was up at 7:00 this morning again, which I think may be her new thing and I hope it goes back soon...i was really enjoying the 2 hours to myself in the morning but now thats gone again. I am glad its friday, that means that in 9 hours and 30 minutes from now brian will be home for the weekend, and I am a day closer to taking my kids to the zoo (praying the rain stays gone for sunday) So, hope you all have a good weekend.

Just waiting on the bark...

My island looks 10 times..no a 1000 times better than it did before! I am so excited! Now I just need the pine bark and a place for my last two palms. I am so glad I got that knocked out today! :)

Happy Hump Day!

So the weather man says maybe no rain now today and tomorrow!!! woohoo!!

I am planning on pulling all the pinestraw out of my island in the back yard today and planting my palms and my flowers and cattail. I know it will look great! Then brian is bringing home some new dark pine bark to fill it in. It is a prettier contrast in the summer against the green grass.

This weekend we are thinking of taking the kids to Zoo Atlanta!!! I am stoked because I have never been to the zoo, and I am a HUGE animal lover and to know I will likely be seeing Gorrillas, Giraffes, Lions, Tigers (and bears! Oh my!) and tons more animals Sunday freaks me out!!! I am so so so excited!!! Plus I get to see the Atlanta skyline again...and man is that a beautiful sight! It reminds me why I love this state! :)

So other than that I am just relaxing and waiting for the weekend!

UGH!! I cant STAND it!!!

So I am scared my beautiful plants will die inside, and the weather is STILL cold and now I am BORED out of my MIND in the house! UGH!

And to make matters WORSE my house hasnt had a showing in WEEKS now!!!!!

So, I told brian if i am going to be here quite possibly all summer long I want to enjoy my yard as much as possible. I am not only planting my new plants but also more grass, and a tomato bush and flowers in the front too! YAY! So I guess if the rain ever STOPS i can finally start to enjoy my yard! :P
