Wait....I had a 3 day weekend???
So, my weekend started off amazingly! We got up Saturday morning and had a nice pancake breakfast, then we took the kids to the big park on the lake and let them play for a few hours, and then we drove to Kennesaw and ate lunch at Stevie B's Pizza, and then went to the Party City to look at Halloween stuff with the kids. We had a whole afternoon planned too, but on the way home I got a call from my friend Buffi. She had gone skating with her kids and her boyfriend and his kids and while she was there she managed to break her ankle in 3 places! So I took Brian and the kids home and drove out to go get her daughters (3 and 6) from her boyfriends sister who had taken them home from the rink. We ended up keeping them saturday, saturday night, sunday, sunday night, and we were going to keep them through wednesday morning, but they ended up going to their dad's house at 6pm last night instead. It was unplanned of course so it kind of changed our labor day plans, but we made the best out of it for them and us and sunday we went to the big park in Woodstock and then played in our yard on the trampoline and played games and played outside and finally got them in bed around 9, and on monday we played outside most of the day. But I was too tired to do much more than manage to get the groceries bought yesterday. Having a 2, 3, 5, and 6 year old in your tiny house for 3 days aint as easy as it sounds! HA!But we did get some stuff accomplished, Brian got the garage cleaned up, and we went ahead and cut down the mountain hibiscus for the year. It was too crazy this year and I just wasnt feeling it anymore so we chopped it down a good 3 weeks early! But my yard looks cleaner and that makes me happy. My friend Tiffany gave me 23 hostas to plant down the side of my house since she knew I really wanted to do that, but at 5.00 or more a piece it would be a while before I spent that kind of money on them! So now I have them and they look a bit frumpy now, but I know they will look great by next year! :) Today I may or may not be taking buffi to the doctors, I am not sure yet, and I have to clean my house which is TRASHED! ugh! I went ahead and splurged on my apple cinnamon candle to light b/c fall is coming! This is literally like the last week of heat! And even though it is in the 80s still its a different kind of 80s t00. This morning on the way to Christopher's school it was actually chilly driving with the windows down and the air off! Yay!!!Well, I better get off here and start getting my crapola done, since I have plenty to do! Hope you all have a great week!♥ ♥ ♥

Hi granddaughter, I love all the blogs and fun ideas you have. Sometimes I feel as though I'm living life through all your family activities. Do you know I'm your most advid reader...LOL!
Grandpa is down with a terrible headache and 25 stitches in his forehead. Yesterday he had a huge squamous cancer down to the skull removed. The poor guy just doesn't get a break, but Grandma is a good nurse and I'm keeping his spirits up.
We love you all!
Grandma Lolly XOXOXOX
Hi Rabinski,
When the house gets looking like a cyclone hit, it means children live there and are having a fun life. One day when everything is neat and in it's place, the kids will be off to college and you'll be missing the mess. I know that for a fact! Enjoy each day that we wake up to, the fun, the challenges, the hopes and dreams, life is so good!
I love you, Grandma Lolly
