Friday was such a busy day!! I spent the whole afternoon at christophers school crying and laughing and loving on the kids and hugging Mrs Stark. The kids loved thier pizza party and Mrs Stark loved her scrap book. Earlier in the morning she had called me to as if I would come in later by almost an hour due to some conferences going on, well when I got their I realized it was a trick! She needed more time with the kids to finish my incredible gift!!!! She made me an apron with all the kids' handprints on it that said "hands down the best room mom" on it!! I instantly started crying and hugged all the kids and just was so sad to see them move on to first grade! The last 15 minutes of school was the 5th grade walk, where all the kids in the school line up in the halls and the 5th graders walk all the halls to say a final goodbye to all their past teachers and friends. It was very emotional and all the teachers (and me!) were crying and the kids thought it was funny. Finally it was time to say goodbye and a final bear hug to Mrs Stark and more tears later and it was over! My little man was officially a graduate of Kindergarten! I cried on and off all afternoon and he was so proud of himself! As was I. :)
Saturday was super busy too! Brian worked overtime to try and make some money for our trip to Murphy, NC, and I had some errands to run. First, me and the kids had donuts in bed that Brian had left us before he went to work, and then we went to the School Box store and got some posters for summer school stuff as well as flash cards for laci. Then we went to TRU to get a birthday gift for Alana. Then we went to her birthday party at a place by Francis and Brannons house and ended up spending a few hours there. It was good and cold inside the jumpy place and surprisingly empty, The company was good and the kids had a ball and it was easy to kill 4 hours. I teared up thinking of them moving soon and I am not looking foward to losing some of our best friends. :( After that I took the kids home and Brian got home and we played outside for a bit and then by 6:30 both kids were sacked out sleeping in Christopher's room. It was the first overnight sleepover of sorts ever in there for them together.
Today was a bit of a hectic day. We decided to go check out the beach at Red Top Mountain and even though it was pretty, it wasnt my cup of tea. It was not as convenient or as nice as the othe rday use areas we use, but in the fall it will be a favorite place for us to walk and hike though for sure! After that, we went home and played outside for a bit, then we went to Walmart to go grocery shopping. On the way home a severe storm hit and on the highway we drove right through what seemed like a small tornado! The rain was a complete whiteout on the highway and cars were pulled over everywhere....then suddenly the wind was blowing sideways and tree branches started falling everywhere and the hail was big and loud and cars were so piled up under the bridges I had no choice but to keep pushing on to get home. The kids were both scared and I was too...until my protective side took over seeing those two scared faces in my rearview. I assured them both that Mommy was going to get them home safe, and that it was just loud rain, but to not be scared that I promised I would keep them safe. I told them I loved them and we pushed on, finally getting home with the water spraying up in huge waves higher than the durango driving down our road. Finally we got home and the rain and hail passed (for now) and the kids cleaned their rooms and had dinner and are now in bed.
Tomorrow we are going to my mom's house for Memorial Day for a BBQ. The kids are going to play in the yard and kiddie pool and we are bringing Clover so we can all just relax and enjoy the day. I am really looking foward to it.
Hope everyone else is enjoying thier weekend! Happy official start to summer!

CONGRATULATIONS!
The day has come! My baby boy is just a few hours away from graduating Kindergarten! It seems like just last week it was pre-K and now its Kindergarten! Its crazy how fast time flies once your kids enter school. I spent the whole day in his class yesterday hanging out and helping with the end of the year party and playing in the class with the kids and helping pack some stuff up. I will be going back in a few hours now to finish the last day by bringing pizza and popcorn for the kids. I will help tear down the room, and also present Mrs Stark with her scrapbook from the class. I am sure she will love it.
I slept in this morning from pure exhaustion. I feel bad to a degree because it is Christopher's last day and I should have been up to wish him well, but considering I will be there in a few short hours I dont feel like I missed the opportunity. Yesterday was a massively huge day that left me sore, sunburned, achy, swollen, and bruised. I started my day by working as a volunteer in the 84* humid morning on the field for the end of the year party, holding for the most part a 35 pound child in one arm, and a bookbag full of things on my back, and shoes, socks, popcorn, and a drink in the other, and a camera around my neck. After an hour in the heat, I spent the rest of the day until 1:00 in the classroom helping out. In the parkinglot of the school it was presented to me to go to the lake...so we did...for 2.5 hours. In the blazing sun. I am now burned quite badly on my back. Then, I had to come home, make dinner, then go do a homecheck for one of our puppies. They checked out well and will be adopting baby Axel this morning. Best of luck sweet boy. Then, I went to walgreens to get some more pics developed, because out of a class of 21, only 12 parents seen fit to actually MAKE the scrapbook page for the teacher....Sooooo...for 2 days now I have been working on trying to make something for her with limited supplies. I stayed up til almost midnight finishing what I can and still have to bring a ton of stuff with me for her to get it finished today. *sigh* But, I did the best I could and thats all I can do. It is beautiful,. and sweet, and a great idea...one that I will probably continue to do if I am made room mom...but I have learned to take LOTS of pics of ALL the kids....just in case.
I finally passed out around 12:40 last night. I woke up to Mrs Stark calling me to ask me to put off lunch til 12:15 (thats fine and actually works better for me) and now I am sitting here still trying to drink my first cup of coffee at 9:00am and so sore. Muscles hurt everywhere. My wrist, my upper arm, my back, neck, legs, thighs, did I say my back??? I am itchy and burning on my back, and I have a headache....but...today is a special day, and soon I will shower and suck it up. Because today...my baby boy graduates Kindergarten! I am so proud and it is so bittersweet. I want to smile and enjoy this day.
So, without much more to write for now, I am off for my day.
Congratulations baby boy. I am so very very proud of you. I love you with every ounce of my soul and I am so blessed to have you in my life. I think its sweet that you cried in my lap last night because you will miss Mrs Stark, I think its even more sweet that I have a child who has that kind of compassion and ability to love so deeply...it shows me how very much alike we are. Here's to a great summer, with many awesome memories, and on to 1st grade in a few months! I love you!

2 days to go!
Two more days til my baby boy graduates Kindergarten!! I was telling brian last night that it really seems like we *just* were in Mrs. Debbie's room crying with her and Irma saying goodbye and thanking them for all they did for him, and now its 2 days away from me doing the same with Mrs Stark. Its crazy! This year has flown by and next year will surely go even faster! Christopher will be in 1st grade, I will be on 3-4 different committees for the PTA as well as hopefully room mom again and laci will likely start taking a day in school once a week as well. I have a feeling life wont slow down anytime soon for us.
Yesterday was a nice day. I made myself stay away from facebook and the computer and only checked in twice from my phone. I felt better being away from it and actually got some stuff done. Brian got home early and I checked Christopher out at 1:30 and we went to go see Shrek Forever After and it was a good movie, but made me cry...I am such a wimp. LOL! The kids loved the middle of the week movie and I liked it too...even if it gave me a headache, ha!
Today is a beautiful hot day and I have so much I feel like I need to do. The rain never came yesterday, as I expected. Its just getting to that time of the year where it calls for rain all the time but it doesnt happen often. I am tired from my nitequil last night and hope to wake up sometime today. Today is Clover's 1/2 year birthday! I cant believe he is 6 months already!! Happy 1/2 Birthday sweet puppy! <333
I am off to get my life going again...enjoying the fresh air and my children and husband. <3

Another busy week!
I have been so non stop I havent had the chance to hop on here and update in a while. It was a crazy fast weekend, that actually started last week! I worked in Christopher's class Thursday and Friday since Mrs Stark was sick and she needs help in there. Friday night I went out with Melissa, Angie, Danielle, Brooke, Francis, Jen, and Katie to Bahama Breeze and had a BLAST! We all ordered a few drinks and laughed so much my face hurt! I was sad when the night ended for me. I had fought a migrain all day long and was amazed it let up enough for dinner, but some of the girls were going home, and some where going to drink 25c beers and party and I had to go get stuff for Christopher's party and his birthday gift and knew I needed sleep. I went to Walmart, had a miserable time there until a manager finally came to my rescue after being almost laughed out of the electronics department by these two jerks and he fixed the problem, and hopfully chewed the workers out good too! (Thanks Robert! You ROCK!!) I finished up and got home around 11:30. The next morning was a madhouse cleaning and organizing, wrapping and filling water balloons. My mom and Steve came by early and brought Christopher his gifts (a buck hunter game and tattoos) and stayed for about an hour which was nice to get to visit quietly, then Francis and Brannon and the girls came by and hung out for a few, long enough for Garik to poop all over francis, lol! After they left the rest of the kids came, and surprisingly enough, the parents left! LOL! All of them!!!! I had bought a TON of food and we threw away whole pizzas finally this weekend from them getting nasty and uneaten. We *still* have cupcakes in the kitchen, and bags of unopened chips and bottles of unopened soda! It was officially the wierdest birthday I have ever hosted. The whole cake thing lasted 5 seconds, the presents opened was another 5 seconds, and the kids just played and ran around until they parents came back around 8pm. Jake ended up spending the night and that was nice and I was up til 11pm putting lego star wars ships together. The next morning I made pancakes and eggs and they played until his mom came finally around 10am and then Christopher told me his birthday was awesome!....ummm....okaaaaay?!?! HA!!
Sunday we went to the walmart for groceries and I got a bathing suit (yuck!, but it works, but I *need* to get this weight off now this summer!, at least another 15 pounds is my goal before September).
Yesterday we went to the lake in the afternoon for a few hours and had dinner. We had such a nice time with just us 4. The kids were swimming so good with their water wings on, and Laci swam with her wings and ring all over the place! She was an animal out there! (quite literally at times snapping and snarling like some wild beast being a "mean shark") We finally swam all the way across to the island and Christopher was intrigued, and Laci just grossed out, lol! We had such a nice time. We came home to a cage full of poop thanks to Clover, but Brian cleaned it up for me and the kids were in bed asleep by 6:30pm! Me and Brian had chinese for dinner and watched "Its Complictaed" which was a great movie, it made me laugh, and cry, laugh and cry through the whole thing....heartstrings! ugh!
Today we are expecting rain. Its cloudy now but I am not sure the actual rian will develop much though. This week is going to be crazy busy! I am working in christopher's class all day on thursday and from 11:30 on til the end on friday, tomorrow night I have to go to Laighann's house to work on the scrapbook gift for Mrs Stark, and today is cleaning and then Shrek with the kids this afternoon, yay!
I am SO ready for summer!! I am taking a huge step AWAY from facebook. Facebook is killing my life away. I want to get back to posting on here more like I used to and summer and fall is ALWAYS jam-packed with the kids and brian anyhow, and will be even more packed now that laci is finally old enough for us to start doing more stuff and enjoying our time together. I am ready to get back to the basics of my family here on Osmanthus way. We have an awesome vacation coming soon and life is good here in this house. Its time to get away from all the crap in the world, and just focus on what God has blessed me with.
Well, for now I am off. I am going to try yet again to add a ticker for our vacation on here, but for some reason I cant get the code to pull up. :(

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
To My sweet baby boy Christopher!!! Its his 6th birthday today! I just can't believe he is SIX!!!! It is a beautiful day, the sun is shining hot, the sky will be blue, and he is dressed and off to school with an arm full of silly bandz ready to wear the birthday crown and enjoy the cupcakes I will be delivering to his school later. Tonight is dinner out as our new family tradition of going out to dinner as a family on the actual birthday night to the restaurant of choice by the birthday person. He has chosen Joes Crab Shack. (aka Crabby Joes). He loves the decor and the ability to play in the sand after eating, and the food of course! :)
I cannot believe he is 6. Time is sure flying by now. Yesterday was his graduation ceremony for Kindergarten and he has 1 1/2 weeks left of school and he is done! Craziness!
I am really gearing up for the summer for lots of fun, but also lots of learning! I have to start Laci on colors and shapes, and letter and numbers this summer to start getting her ready for pre-K, and he has to continue on his letters, writting, and math at least! Its gonna be busy!
My time online will come down a lot in 2 weeks, I like to devote as much of my time to my kids in the summer months as possible since I really have to be the one to get them set up for most play such as pools and going to the lake and whatnot. I am also SUPER EXCITED for our family vacation in July to Murphy North Carolina to spend a 4-5 day week in the mountains on a private lake. There is fishing, a paddle boat, a huge yard for Clover and the kids to run around in, and beautiful scenery and swimming holes with waterfalls and wildlife. The kids are so excited as is me and brian!
Well I guess I should get off here and get some stuff going to be ready for the rest of the day!

What a weekend!
We have been pretty much non-stop since Brian was home all the end of last week, and this weekend was mothers day!
Thursday and Friday we worked at Christopher's school, and I decided in the fall I am going to look into doing substitue teachering, which I think would be a fun way to get out of the house a few days a week. Today starts the beginning of his last three weeks at school, and he is super excited! We are already working on a game plan for some fun as a family this summer. We have decided that during the summer we will be going down to have dinner with my mom and them every other friday night. It will give us a way to get closer and the kids to see their grandparents as much as possible and give us something fun to do. Being summertime there is no real schedual and the kids can pass out on the way home and its not a problem. I think its going to work out well and I am excited for it!
Thursday I got my hair cut and colored for Mothers day! I had 13 inches cut off and I had it dyed to a dark brunette color with honey highlights. I love it! It feels so good to have all that hair OFF of my head! Bleh!
Saturday was a big day. We started off with Bear's adoption! He was adopted by a nice family with twin 4.5 year olds and he is going to be living the high life now! His new name is Harley and he is gonna be one spoiled boy! Then we went to the store and got some stuff and we grilled some hamburgers and then invited Matthew and Isaiah over for smores in the back yard with our kids. After everyone went home and went to bed, me and brian sat outside til late in the dark by the fire even though it was freezing! (we got down into the 40s over night!) We stayed up and just talked until late and then finally came in a passed out.
I woke up Sunday morning (Mother's day) to a beautiful 6 foot banner that was handpainted by everyone on the bedroom wall. It literally made me gasp! It is so beautiful and so extreamly thoughtful! I got breakfast in bed complete with fresh picked flowers and pancakes and coffee and the newspaper. Christopher helped be a flipper of the pancakes because he "learned how to flip them on Spongebob!" LOL! I got some beautiful handmade cards (my fav!) and besides my hair, Brian wants me to join a local GSD club and start formal training with Clover! I am super excted and hope they still accept me after not showing up to the meeting on Thursday and missing the first class this saturday. I have to call him today and find out what the deal is.
After my awesome morning, we went to Lowes to get the rest of my moms stuff and then headed to my moms to spend the day. She grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and ribs, we had corn and mashed potatoes and watermelon and it was all wonderful! My mom loved her stuff and her cards and we finally left around 5:30. We stopped at Walmart on the way home to get groceries. We are changing our diet around here and working on getting healthier as a family, so we all picked out things we would like to have this week. It worked well and we all came home ready for bed! Christopher and laci were both asleep by 8pm and me and brian were asleep by 11. It was a great day! :)
Today I have some errands to run but I got up with the alarm and got everyone's breakfast and lunch made and I am having my second cup of coffee and enjoying this beautiful morning already! I hope everyone enjoys their day too!
Lots of Love!

Happy Cinco De Mayo!
Its a beautiful HOT sunny morning here in good ol' GA. Its gonna be 88* today and I am half thinking of sitting in a kiddie pool with a margarita all day.
Yesterday was Christopher's field day at school. He had a great time and so did we. Me and Brian and Laci all managed to go and we had fun watching and cheering and playing with all the kids. It was funny to see how wiped out all the kids were afterwards since their field day didnt seem to be nearly what mine was growing up! It was so hot and I was actually happy when it was over. I got a ton of pictures that I have to sort out still and thought it was a huge success. After I picked Christopher up from school, I took the two of them down to Baskin Robbins for ice cream sundaes. They were quite pleased but then both complained of belly aches last night...imagine that! LOL! I still cant believe that the school year is only 3 weeks away from ending! That is wild! This summer I continue my work with Christopher, and start working with Laci now that she is 3. She is doing great so far knowing about 5 colors without fail, and counting to 5. By the end of the summer I would like to see her recognize 1/2 the alphabet, count to 10, and know all the basic colors....Christopher will be working on his letter writing, and reading, and math. :)
Today begins brian's 5 days off. We are going to piddle around the house and try to get some relaxation in as well. We will probably work in the back yard a little and get it cleaned up from the dogs going bananas back there. Bear is just a few days away from possible adoption and I am actually kind of relieved this time. He has been my hardest yet because of his age and needs and lack of bladder control. I will be glad to know he has a forever home, and that I can take a small break.
Hope everyone has a nice day and enjoys the sun!

Monday time!
So its finally raining...we waited all weekend for it and it didnt show up until midnight last night. The storms here werent bad, but there is horrific flooding in TN and MS. I feel bad for them, they are getting the 100 year flood that we go last year. So sad. :(
The weekend went by way too fast. Brian worked on Saturday and Sunday was a blur of looking for Birthday invites, grocery shopping, a little outside time, and me laying in bed with a migrain all afternoon. We decided since we are sick of eating the same crap day after day week after week, that I am taking a week off from cooking dinner. We will be fending for ourselves (well, I will be fending for me and the kids) and eating a little bit of whatever all week. Cereal at 9pm? Fine! Eggs and Toast? Sounds great! Peanut Butter and Jelly at 3pm? No problem! :) Sounds like a nice easy plan that I could get used to! LOL!
I want to get off the computer more during the day. I need to find better ways of spending my time than harvesting fake crops or feeing fake fish....its time I stepped away and lived some...even if living is vegging out watching Yo Gabba Gabba! (because there is...afterall...a party in my tummy...and it is...afterall...so yummy....so yummy!) I have my phone and I get on and check stuff a few times a day from there, and I like how I felt being away most of the weekend. So we will see how it goes. I am also going to start walking Clover again at night because me and him need the exercise and the pollen has gone down now so we wont choke to death on yellow dust while walking.
This week is field day week. It will be fun I am sure. Christopher's day is tomorrow, and I am going in with Laci to volunteer our time. We went Friday night to a PTA meeting and a little thing put on my the kindergarteners. I cried as always and it was super cute. My little man is now a rising 1st grader! wow!!! I got his graduation pictures and they are so cute! (yes, I cried...must you even wonder?)
Brian is off Wednesday through the weekend which is super nice! I am always excited to have extra days with him. Mothers day is this weekend and I have some ideas, but as usual things will go out late, lol, at least I am consistant in my negligence! Well I am off to see what I can kill the day with today being stuck inside with rain. I think I may go to target and Hallmark since no one seems to have Christopher's invites he wants and also no one seems to have crap for Mothers day cards! I seriously think at this point I will be handmaking my cards to my mom and grandma! LOL! Lots of love!
Hope everyone enjoys the day!
LOL!

Hello May! Hello Blog!
So I have come to realize that Facebook is killing my blog. Its so much easier to post everything there lately than to sit and take the time to update on here...and I am sick of it! I want to get back on track here and start working on this blog the way I used to. I want to have my place to vent and get out my feelings on things where I wont have 1000 people jumping in and giving me their take and opinion on a situation. I will also start using this as a place to vent even about the not so nice things in life because I need a place to be heard if someone reads it for a change and to get my chance to tell my side of things once in a while. If you dont like that...stop reading now! LOL!
So it is May now. April flew by. This is a very busy month too! My baby boy turns SIX and he also GRADUATES kindergarten!!! His kindergarten graduation pics are so cute I cant stand it! Love them!!! He also has Field Day which is so cool, I loved field day when I was a kid! We have Christopher's birthday that we are still scary undecided as to how we will do it with only 21 days til the party, and Brian is off for a few days here and there, and we also have Christopher's kindergarten awards day! We also have Mother's day and a possible trip to Gainesville with Clover to go see his daddy and mom and breeder and half brothers and sisters! :) I am very excited for all of it!
I have Bear still, who is my newest Foster pup. He is 13 weeks old now and a doll. His ears crack me up since they are standing perfectly yet he is so teeny! He is fully vetted now and ready for his forever home! Him and Clover are good buddies too. They love running and playing in the newly fenced in yard that Brian and Steve put up last weekend...which I LOVE by the way!!! It looks fabulous!!!
The house is really coming together now and starting to feel like home once again. Me and Brian re-arranged the bedroom last night to get things feeling different again and I have been working on the kids rooms to get them more organized and try to max out the space we have.
Today Brian is working. The rain is coming, and its gonna be a blah kind of day. I am thinking of doing something with the kids, maybe we will go down to fernbank tomorrow as a family since it will be raining and Brian hasnt been with us yet. I think that could be fun...minus the gas we have to get in the durango. Either way we do something!
Hope anyone who may actually read this has a good day and look for more coming!
