Good morning family!

So its Thursday...wishing it was friday of course. Last night we went to Monkey Joe's and the kids did ok this time, except Christopher had a hard time til he found a kid to latch on to. He kept telling me that he was "gonna find someone who wants to be nice to him" and then if a kid didnt play he would hang his head and tell me that no one liked him. I swear the kids in this neighborhood have ruined his self esteem! UGH! But he finally found a kid, about 3-4 years old, and they played til I finally had to break the news that they were closing. After that I picked the kids up some Mc Donalds and went to my moms house to get some stuff to try and sell to make money for the kids fall/winter clothes that they will need in the near future. We visited for a long time and I always leave feeling like I miss way too much time with my family. The four of them mean so much to me its absurd. Steve doesnt know it, and niether does my mom, but I already consider him my dad. I know thats silly to say, but in a wierd way I think I look a bit like him, and he is easy to talk to, and I guess I just alaways wanted a dad and now I have one...too bad they didnt meet 24 years ago.
Today we are nervous because brian is asking his general manager for a raise. We are super nervous but it has to happen because we just dont have enough money anymore. So if he doesnt get a raise, either he has to find another job making more money or I will have to work full time as well.

please wish us luck!!

Well its time to get Laci up and feed everyone!
Hope your thursday is great!

My dear Granddaughter, I'm catching up with all the Pod's news and having my coffee. Keep up the good work with your walking routine, I'm very proud of you. You have a good head for finances, you'll come up with a budget that meets your standards. The enconomy is tight right now, and we all have to tighten our spending and ride it out. I'll call you later after Grandpa's treatment. He's getting tired of them and doesn't wanna go round two of another six. We'll take it a day at a time and trust in the lord. Love to all my Pod family.
Love, Grandma Lolly
