Today was the big day!!!

My baby boy started PreK this morning!!!!

We got up at 6:00 this morning and had breakfast (he chose wildberry toaster strudel with neon blue icing) and then I made my coffee. I went to the restroom and came back and he was gone from the table..I thought "uh oh, I bet he wentback to bed" and called "Christopher?" I hear "yeah mom?" He was in the livingroom...with his clothes and shoes and socks and bookbag brought down from his room!! *sniff* He was so excited! I did a good job of getting him ready for and excited about school! So we got him dressed in his new "awesome" clothes and his "super fastest" shoes and he was ready to "pack" his bookbag..which we only packed a few pictures instead.
We got laci up and headed down...we were 2 mins late but we were still way before many as his room was almost empty. The assistant teacher, Mrs Irma, I went to highschool with and we recognized each other right off the bat! I was so happy!!
We picked out a cubby (the yellow section with the blue pencil sticker on it) and packed his bookbag up in it and then brought him to a table where there were plates of playdoh waiting for them all. He looked a little uneasy as another girl started wailing loudly, but I said "remember how mommy told you some kids wouldnt understand how fun school was going to be?" (he shook his head) "and remember how I said those kids might be scared and feel alone?" (another shcke) "well that little girl is scared and will need a special friend...will you be extra nice to her today?" (a smile and a head shake..."yeah mommy") So I was happy to know he remembered what I have been telling him.
So we said goodbye and reassured him we'd be back so soon for picking him up and kissed him goodbye, and that was that...
I called a few minutes ago and he is well and hasnt cried at all!!

*sniff!!*

So I came home and Brian left for work and I went to the dentist alone with Laci b/c I have been in pain for about 5 days now. I fought my fear, and cried 3 times, to find out I may have a small cavity that needs filled in the very backside of my very last molar, and will need to make another appointment for that. It will be 170.00 and that is something we dont have right now, so I am not sure what we will do... :( ...i am also TERRIFIED of the denist and have never had a cavity or the drill in my mouth beofre and the sheer idea is making me feel like vommiting! (sigh!)

Yesterday we changed realtors! We are now going with a woman from Coldwell Banker named Donna. She seems real nice and we are excited at the idea of a new listing and agent. Its a shame things had to get to hateful and nasty at the end with Chrsitian...right down to yesterday when he had his last little snarky dig on us as he threw his sign in his car.

So now laci is taking a nap and I am going to get a shower in and then in a few more hours I get to pick my little man up! :) YAY!
