I cant tell you how many times I cried yesterday, or how many times I told someone how happy I was, but I can tell you that for the first real time in my life I was 100% truly PROUD to be in America. We have such a long road to recovery if it will ever be the same, but for now, for last night, all that was cast aside to raise two fingers in a "V" and hug someone!! What an amazing day we had as a whole. I have never witnessed that much love simply oozing from Americans to one another. And I am so greatful that my kids were here to witness this great change in history. We all need to work together to do what we can in the coming years to show how much and how easy it can be to love one another as a common ground of being US citizens. I am still in awe I think and slightly love blind, lol.
As for my personal life, it has been pretty slow. Last Saturday me and Brian did get away for a few hours and we went to see the Bodies Exhibition at Atlantic Station. It was so amazing! It only enforced my driving need to enter into the medical field and I left almost speechless. You were not allowed to take pictures so sadly I dont have any to show you. :( It was so amazing and so artisticly done though, that I will be going back next month with Joey and Christopher. They both want to see it and after previewing it myself I am confident that it will not be too much for Topher. So we are excited about that. After the exhibit, we went and browsed around IKEA for a few hours and that was fun and relaxing. And I even resisted the amazing cinnamon rolls there! (anyone who has been to an IKEA knows exactly what I am talking about!)
Anyhow there is not much going on otherwise though. Just home, gym, clean, sleep, repeat for the most part. There isnt anything special planned for this weekend, but next weekend is my Jewelry party, so that should be fun!
Well, I must go for now, Laci is waking up and I am cold and in need of some pants! ha!
Have a beautiful day!
