Hello all! Welcome to April! (I am well aware a day late!)
This is the first month in 14 that I get to go back to "normal"! I forgot how to do that in this house!
So to bring you all up to date again,
The house is off the market. We are finalizing the paperwork this weekend. We are working on things around the house and we are still waiting on word from the refinance. Brian started his new job at Allstate and is loving it and I am trying to get used to getting up early to get Laci back on a normal schedual. I had to go to the ER this last weekend as I have Bronchitis and Pneumonia. I am on a ton of meds, and feeling alot better now. We added a 3 month old pup to our household this weekend. She is a Blue Heeler (AKA Austrailian cattle dog) and is super super sweet and smart as a whip! She is 3 months old and her birthday is Christmas day! Her name is Pixie and I am already falling in love! The kids both love her to pieces too!
This last weekend we also changed the kids' rooms. We painted and did a makeover of Christophers closet. I will post before and after pics eventually. They look great though and both kids love the "new" bedrooms! :)
Today is a HUGE day!!! I register my baby boy for KINDERGARTEN!!!! He will be attending Liberty Elementary and I have to go this afternoon and get him signed up! He is also doing so great in Pre-K. He is now reading the first 2 books in his hooked on phonics set in class and can read small words in books at home. (We recently enjoyed "hop on pop") I have started reading again everynight and we both love that quality time. He is spending the night this weekend with Nana and Grandpa Steve. They are taking him out for pizza and to see "Monsters vs. Aliens" at the theater. He is really excited and I know he will have a blast! I am so happy about it too! :)
I am trying to get well finally so I can add the gym back into my life. I think its a combo of the extream stress of life that has my immune system down and I think thats why I seem to be picking up every tiny thing I come in contact with. Hopefully now that we have a life plan I can start to get back to me...13 1/2 months ago me that is...
Well I am off to unpack some boxes and steam clean the livingroom. Hope you all have a fantastic day!
Robin

Good luck on that cattle dog! I read this post the day you wrote it but did not have time to comment.
Trey had a cattle dog before he met me and after. His name was Ding...I'm sure you've read me mention him many times. Anyway, he was HANDS DOWN the SMARTEST dog I have ever seen in my life (and that says a lot b/c you know I hate animals.) But we had to get rid of him b/c he kept trying to bite Madison after she was born. He barked ALL the time; so much that our neighbors took us to court over it and called the police several times.
That breed is supposed to be really good with kids and not bark but we truly, truly, truly, truly, truly, feel like he was possessed. We had the dog on prozac (sp) b/c he was SOOOOOOO hyper! He was THE most irritating dog I have EVER met in my life but smart as a stinkin' whip!
Just thought I'd share that with you. If you asked any one of our friend and family that met Dingo, they would tell you the same stuff I did. He is doing VERY good now. He is living on a farm with a ton of animals. Those breeds need A LOT of room to run around...they should be on a farm. So good luck with yours. ;o)
