Ok so I have let WAY too many big days go by without an update so bare with me as this will require some time, and perhaps a second cup of coffee! ;)
Laci's birthday party:
Went off perfectly! I timed my morning well on picking things up and was back in time to get dressed for the party without getting cranky and stressed! :) She had a great time and looked like a bitty princess in her floor length multi shades of pink dress that she chose to wear. We had a ton of kids and Joey was in his zone at one point jumping on the trampoline with about 7-9 kids at a time! Christopher fully enjoyed having his girlfriend over and my mom got to meet a lot of people too. Laci only fussed once when she wanted to get on the trampoline and she did a fantastic job of blowing out her candle and opening her gifts! :) (will post pics today). The day was fun and passed quickly and before we knew it, the last guests were rolling out around 4:30! Wow! We unwound and had some dinner and the kids were both in bed by 8:30. The weather was warm with a cool breeze and comepletely sunny and we couldnt have asked for a better day! :) Happy Birthday again Laci! ♥ ♥
Laci's Birthday day:
We got up and had pancakes and showers. The kids both slept in til about 9am. Then we packed the wagon and more stuff and headed to the Atlanta Zoo! Another beautiful fair weathered day with a slight breeze. The kids loved the zoo and it even made me really appreciate how very lucky I am and me and Brian were especially lovey all day long. We took our time as everyone was in a great mood and had fun watching animals, petting animals, and playing in the zoo playgrounds. We had some lunch and christopher started not feeling so well. While we were there a woman with an accent came up to us and asked if we could use "these" and handed us 2 adult and one child city passes! In them were tickets to both the aquarium and fernbank!!!! So we thanked her a ton and immediately planned the week out. What we hadnt planned on was christopher having food poisoning. :( But 3 days down he is getting better everyday and not letting a weak belly keep him from stuff! He refused to miss out on the weeks activities so we have been full steam ahead...with a few barf bags in tow! Anyhow we finished the day out at the zoo and headed home. The kids both passed out and we got home and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. Another great day in the books! :)
Monday:
Christopher was still sick but wanted to go to school so we let him. That afternoon Laci went to see the dermetologist and had her "spot" looked at on her face. Turns out it was a cyst with a Calcium deposit. He decided to lance it there in the office on the spot and drain it and remove the 2 large calcium "stones" from it. She was done in about 20 mins and her spot is on the mend now and looking a lot better. The doc said if it didnt go away to come in for a second lancing, but a third time will require a periatric plastic surgeon. So we are praying once was enough!
Tuesday:
So we realize that Christopher may possibly have something other than food poisoning since he is still puking and getting more lethargic, but his spirits were high and he didnt want to miss anything so we set out on an adventure to the Georgia Aquarium! It was a cloudy day but warmish and we headed out around 10am. The trip down was super easy as I think I am finally getting used to Atlanta roads and starting to recognize intersections and areas better to find ourselves around town easier. The aquarium was great! Other than the big jellyfish exhibit being down, we enjoyed it imensely! The kids were both pretty good and we stayed for almost 4 hours! :) We got some good pics and had lunch and got a few treats at the end and just enjoyed yet another day of relaxation. The kids both slept soundly on the way home and we had a nice evening. Tuesday night Laci started to snub food which made us go on high alert.
Wednesday:
Christopher is still puking but feeling hungry. He wanted to eat all day long but had trouble holding a lot down. He is holding liquids well though and we think he is on the mend. Its a rainy day. We go to a local shelter looking at dogs as we think we may finally be ready to open our hearts and home to a new one. The kids enjoyed it, esspecially the cat rooms, and once a month on a saturday morning Christopher is going to start giving back to his community by visiting the cat rooms and brushing them and feeding them. :) I think its good for him to learn to give back. Laci is increasingly fussy. We decide to take it easy and not do much else for the day. We rented some movies and all watched "Bolt" together. It was a super cute movie and we all enjoyed it! Laci starts puking at 11:45. :( We realize at that moment we have a re-infection of a possible Rotavirus.
Thursday:
So far today Christopher is doing much better. Laci however is having serious diarrhea and not very hungry. No more puking so far, but I am ready for it. She is fussy, its raining and all in all a pretty crappy day. Its coldish and cloudy and just blah. And at this moment I feel a bit uneasy in the belly myself. **prays its just in my head**. We were going to attempt Fernbank today but with everything going on we have decided to wait it out. Hopefully this weekend will be nicer and we will all be on the mend and can go and see the dinosaurs at Fernbank then! *crosses fingers*. Today I plan on taking it easy and having more of a repeat over yesterday. Me and brian Lysoled the house this morning and we are using hand sanitizer like mad! All of laci's diapers are going outside to the trash and we are trying to not spread this around, especially since Brian starts his new job on Monday!!!!!
And the biggest news of all~~~
THE PRUITT FAMILY IS STAYING IN CANTON PERMANENTLY!!
After much deliberation and thought we have decided that we are not willing to lose all of the equity in our home by selling now at such a terrible price. Canton is booming right now and honestly is becoming more and more like kennesaw everyday but a lot closer to all the fun outdoorsy stuff we love to do as a family, like the lake, Burts farm, Cagle, and the YMCA. So we are taking our house off the market and re-financing and trying to get in at a lower rate at 125k. We are then going to finish the wall in chriistopher's room so he has a real bedroom and not a loft, add a nice swingset/playset at the bottom of the hill for the kids, pay off the homeowners bill so we can have access to the pool all summer, and pay off our credit cards. The put money away for the next house and some back down on this one. Then in about 3 years we plan on selling. We will, however, remain here in canton and not pull the kids out of school.
Next Thusday I register Christopher at Liberty Elementary!!!!!! My baby boy is starting Kindergarten!!!!!
So thats all our news! Hope you enjoyed it! I am off to take a hot shower and keep waiting to hear about our refinance progress! Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

WOW! That was quite a post!
Poor Christopher...he's been through it, huh?!
Smart decision on your house...you aren't going to settle, so good for you guys!
Re-decorate your house and you can make it feel like you've steped into a new home.. Have fun & good luck.
Hi Grandaughter, WOW...that was a lot to digest. I think staying in your home was a very wise choice. Kids don't do well in an apartment after they have the freedom of playing in the garage on rainy days, and in the backyard. You have such a nice place there, the kids were born there, and it's home to them. Some times it's hard to have patience, but good things will happen for The Four Ps In A Pod Family! We wish Brian luck on his new job, he'll do well! I'll call you later next week after Grandpa'a bladder procedure, and my throat specialist appoint. on Tues. No one said life was gonna be a bowl of cherries,we're hanging in here!
Love you all, Grandma Lolly
