The first nice (cold) day ...

Of our house being at 125,000...and we have an offer!

However, this is how its going:

9am Tues, Showing for almost 45 minutes.

11:45, knock on the door...its the realtor from the showing, wanting to REshow the house since now the girl's dad is here too.

12:35, I leave to go get Christopher from school...they are STILL in the back yard.

3:00, Donna calls us. They want to know about the dryer since the washer isnt staying. They are writing an offer!

6:00, Donna comes over and shows us the offer:

115,000, PLUS *we* pay 5200 in closing, PLUS they want our couch!!!
WHAT?!?!?!

So we know at this point that the love our house and we feel confident that this may be a for sure sale...so we play hardball.

Our options are A. Counteroffer and open the lines of bidding, B. Reject it all together and slam the door, or C. Accept (ha! yeah right)

So we reject. Nope not happening, what a crock, thanks for wasting our frikkin day! :P

8:30, Donna calls...new offer, 125,000, no couch, 5200 in closing.
(ummm where the hell did the couch thing become a tool here? Thats my friggin couch! I love my couch! Grrrr!!!

So we say, 125,000, 3k in closing (putting us at our bottom dollar of 122k), no couch.

9:00, Donna calls. 125,000, 3k in closing...and the couch! WHAT THE %$#@???

We say this:
125k, 2k in closing, and the dang couch. (After looking at Rooms to Go and making sure I can RE-buy a new couch) **shakes head**

Now we wait...so its 6:15 in the morning, I feel like crap from food upsetting my belly all night and now we wait to see if they take this offer....

If they do, we have a sale, and we will be out by the end of the month (their terms...its funny to be tossed out of our own home, lol). If they dont, well...there will be other offers...and probably my couch will be safe in them!!!

So this morning our realtor calls us and...

They have bid 127,200 with us paying FULL closing costs but keeping our couch...

AND WE TOOK IT!!!

So now we have sold our house (hopefully) and will be moving out of here by the 27th of this month!!!!

eeeeeeeek!!!!!
